My mentor, in whom I'm well pleased Gossiphub: HE Peter Obi and Datti have touched landed in Kwara for the today's #ObiDattiInKwara rally.
They were warmly received by a team of Labour Party officials in Kwara who had been waiting expectantly to receive them. |

Teacherjobs: According to the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, education graduates would soon start a one year internship programme, aimed at improving the quality of teaching Nigeria.
Speaking in Abuja a meeting with North Central zone stakeholders, Registrar of the TRCN, Prof. Josiah Ajiboye disclosed this was part of the proposals tabled at the special Federal Executive Council meeting on education on Monday.
Ajiboye said: “Part of the things we are trying to look at in the Federal Ministry of Education, which the minister is proposing, is that we are going to have a one year internship programme for teachers. If you can have houseman ship for medical doctors, why not a one year internship programme for would-be teachers."
“So when they finish from the internship programmes they can be registered as professional teachers."
“Also, there is a proposal to reintroduce bursary award for those who are reading education courses in colleges of education and the universities to make sure we are able to attract best brains to teaching profession.
“The minister is also trying to propose that those who have education degree instead of starting them on grade level 8, they should be started on grade level 9 to make the job competitive and make the teachers feel confident about their profession.
Ajiboye said that the national assembly was amending the name of the council to "Teachers Regulatory Council of Nigeria" to fully capture the organisation's duties in regulation of the teaching profession.

Crime › High Crime Rate And Policing by Donphysics(op): 8:14am On Oct 19, 2017*. Modified: 8:33am On Oct 19, 2017 |
Early hours of this morning, our home was burgled. To my greatest surprise, police men on mufti with some hoodlums in the community, were responsible for such an act. Here's the story ; Asaba has been a community characterized by cultism and most especially land selling. It has become a norm, but fortunately the land is finished. The youths have made themselves so gullible to the extent that those from across the Niger, have begun to take over the community from its rightful owners. They claim to be Biafrans and that the said land mass which happens to be in Asaba, now belongs to them. The police has in no way, helped to bring peace. Instead, they are causing chaos because they've all been bribed with illegal pieces of land and huge sum of money. Those officers is zone 5 Benin city, are really a failure to our dear country Nigeria. How can police officers come in the wee hours, to arrest people, when there's already a case in court. That's actually a breach in the federal law. The AIG monitoring unit zone 5 needs to thread with caution. I'm using this medium to appeal to well meaning Nigerians to help the elders of umuagulu community in Asaba, Delta state, because these people from across the Niger are hell bent on taking what belongs to our children and generations yet unborn.
Please my supermods, help push this to FP. THANKS |
