Honestly Noblesse is beginning to annoy me. Incessant trash talk that is being stretched out unnecesary.....irrelevantly stretched out scenerios..like someone walking around to find an exit door....get the folk (in the anime) to find the door faster and stop wasting my time.

After stretching all the irrelevant stuffs to fill up 23minutes they'll now postone real fight scenes to next episode only to now resume their rubbish of stretching out unnecesary scenes to use the anime time.

Lazy producers! After seeing this rubbish I'm beginning to give GOH some credit!!!

Are these Animes any good? I have had them on my list for long, but the fear of watching something terrible is there.
I completed Darwins game today and I have to say that it was nice. it gets a 7 out of 10 for me.

Ajin- This started off so nice; hell, I was so impressed that I hurriedly downloaded the season 2, only to be gravely disappointed with the heavy reduction in quality between season 1 and 2

Mahouka rottousei- I recently completed episode 14, and I have to say that I have been far from impressed. The only thing keeping me going is the curiosity about the MC Tatsuya.

Haikyuu- I just recently started this and I really hope it turn out to be nice.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K has a good English dub mainly because the voices fit the characters perfectly. However, dubbing companies don't go out of their way to ensure that the voices actually fit the characters. They just use whoever is available.

I can't really blame them though, would they be able to justify breaking the bank popular VAs like Tom Kenny or Tara Strong (seriously check their body of work)? The current system allows them to churn out poor quality dubs for people who don't like subs and still make a sufficient return on investment to pay the bills and keep making more trash.

First off, translating the original language script to English is not the job of the voice actor. That's the job of the script translators and the editors.
The voice actor's job is to bring the script to life.
Seeing as English subtitles to anime exist, it's safe to assume that translation or research is not the overlying problem here. And there's a limit to just how much of a language you can translate. Names, certain titles, even idioms are just about impossible to carry over to another language.
Now, on your Death Note example, it's basically what I talked about in my previous post. Death Note is a story set in a modern day Japan with a near-realistic setting, save for the presence of the Shinigami. The dialogue is grounded and relatable. All these basically makes dubbing Death Note easy as pie. There's no ridiculously flamboyant speech to struggle with, unlike most other action/battle Shounen.
There's a reason why most of the best dubs are from the Seinen demographic.

I think it's more about the cultural disparity. There's a reason why most anime with decent English dubs are shows set in modern/post-modern worlds with a Western theme. While the worst dubs are from action shonen set in fantastical worlds with an Eastern theme.
The dub actors struggle, usually unsuccessfully, with translating the emotions and references from the Japanese style.
Most dub actors are also the ones working in the English animated series, too.

i dont think so! Its laziness on the part of the eng dubbed voice actors to find the appropriate phraseology in English to properly convey the Japanese meaning..it may not be possible to do direct translation..but believe me, with a little research, you can find english expressions to convey Japanese meanings.

DeathNote eng dubbed was good, for the reasons I stated above...the eng dubbed voice actors really did their research work well, for example, calling someone 'child out of wedlock' evokes different emotional response from calling same person 'bastard!'; you get the point now. With a bit of research, eng dubbed voice actors can nearly interpret, maybe not directly translate, those Japanese expressions!

It's because Crunchyroll and Funimation use crappy inhouse voice actors for their dubs. English language animated series like Archer, Family Guy, Rick and Morty, etc have stellar voice acting.

Dubs are bad because the voice actors either aren't good or don't do their best.

English lang has no culture..or is it dat they've totally lost their heritage...that's possibly why eng dubbed animes are so dull, boring and uninteresting save a few!

The japanese voice actors come to the 'stage' full of the substance of their culture and heritage...dats why I'll always prefer japanese dubbed over english dubbed animes.
