Lagos Hotel Raid: Olukoyede Orders Arrest of EFCC Operatives for Assaulting Female Staff

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has mandated the arrest of two officers accused of assaulting a female staff member at a hotel in Lagos.

In a widely circulated video, EFCC operatives in plain clothes were seen forcefully entering a room at the Regional Hotel in Ojo, Lagos.

EFCC spokesman Dayo Oyewale confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday, explaining that the officers' actions were part of an early morning sting operation. This operation resulted in several arrests, with suspects currently being profiled.
