Thank you for your prompt response VO. My interview was yesterday, the consular officer collEcted my passport, told me my visa is approved. Gave me the document collection slip which I mentioned earlier. But I got confused with the last slip I was given saying my case needs additional administrative processing. I know my case is approved but don't know why I was given a slip saying it needs additional AP.When do I know I should go pick up my visa at the collection centre. Thank you. LagosNIV: |

Hello VO, I had my immigrant visa on 28 January. The interview went fine. The consular officer told me my case is approved. I was handed 3 white slips. One was the "Collecting your issued US immigrant visa". The second was ""USCIS Immigran fee"". The third was "" The Foreign SErvice of the USA", Stating that before adjudicating my case that my case will undergo AP. Now, my passport was collected, visa approved but with the 3rd slip I got a little confused. What does this imply. Thank you and remain blessed. |

Hello dearest VO, I could remember my last post here months ago. I was like a lost sheep in this immigration journey. Well, here i am today, thanks to you pulling through just fine. Here again wearing my coat of patience, though hopeful on how things have been turning out. My case is a 1R1/CR1. My petition was filed in mid January 2015, it was received 27 Jan. My petitioner called USCIS last week and was told it will be approved by June 27. That got me confused a bit, am aware it takes 6 to 8 months for it to be approved. Here is my question, within this waiting period before my case is approved, when will my petitioner be consulted for further document requirement and what document could that be. Secondly, i don't know how to calculate case process via the visa bulletin, do you know when CR1/IR1 cases which was filed January 2015 (probably approved June 27) be scheduled for interview. Thank you so much for your works here and hope to hear from you |

Hello vo Am Mrs Adaora McIntosh.I applied twice for. B1/B2 visa to visit my then fiance but was denied, all in US embassy Abuja.I applied again for B1/B2 after my wedding for my honeymoon,my interview was 22nd Oct 2014,I was placed on administrative processing for 2mths.I was called back and I went to the embassy 30th Dec 2014.To my amazement,I was denied AGAIN.The consular advised me to apply for a K-3 visa which I wasn't aware of. 2 months of waiting was just wasted. I was told that the K-3 class of visa is attended to in US embassy Lagos. Now,I will need your support on every step of this to avoid the previous mistake I made that has cost me time and money. I and my husband is bit confused on the filing of petition. He said that in one of the forms that my signature is needed.Am in Nigeria and He is in US.How do we manage the situation. I will need a step to step advice on filing the petition and how I go about applying the K-3 visa. HaPpy new year 1 Like |
