Good day people. I'm a regular guest here, but had to create this account because I really need this. Please I need some counselling.
I'm a 200l student of chemistry in one of the state owned universities. I went with Chemistry because I had no other choice (story for another day). But now, I see a very bleak future for myself with this course. I know job market is tough generally, but from the little adverts and testimonies I see online, none has a position for Chemistry grads. I'm worried about all these because I really want to have a goal in my life and plan towards that goal early. What do I do after graduation? Do I job hunt? Do I further my education? What happens to Chemists in the Nigerian labour market? What business do they engage in? Thank u all.
