My Visa got denied December 1st at Lagos embassy...was for 8am

VO: What’s the name of your school
Me: Louisiana State University, Shreveport
VO: Course of Study
Me: Master of Science in information science with concentration in cybersecurity and networking.
VO: I can see you have a scholarship and who’s going to be paying for your deficit
Me: After three different stages of interview with the director of the institute. The school was kind enough to offer me 70% scholarship while the remaining 30% will be covered by my brother including my housing and books.
VO: Who’s your sponsor
Me: My brother who currently works in XYZ company in NY.
VO: Oh, he works in the state and when did he move there?
Me: He got transferred from XYZ company in UK to their headquarters in NY
VO: What year?
Me: 2016
VO: What the you study as undergrad and what year did you graduate.
Me: Computer science and I graduated 2013.
VO: Wow, 8 years and why did you choose to go for your masters
Me: Mid last year I joined my Dad’s company as a system engineer it’s a family business. With the task and responsibilities being saddle on me to take the company to a better position. I need acquire knowledge and set skills to be able to perform efficiently in this role upon my return and also have an exposure to the latest cybersecurity technology
VO: Have u travelled abroad before
Me: No, I have not had any reasons to but I see this as an opportunity to acquire the missing skills and knowledge gap for my career development.
VO: Are you married?
Me: No
VO: Do you have a child?
Me: No
VO: Baba gave me a blue paper, you are not qualified.....bla bla bla
Me: Thank you

I wanted to cry ….I still do know the reason why that dude denied me

Maybe I needed to change my sponsor from my brother to my Dad and also let the VO knows that I have been working since I graduated

Please, I applied for Emergency Appointment and Lagos surge request last week. On Monday the 22nd of Nov, I got an approval from the Lagos surge and I was scheduled for an interview on 1st of December. Two days later on the 24th of Nov, my EA was denied..

I want to ask if I should still go to the embassy on the 1st of December

Can I change from Lagos or Abuja, it seems hard to get a date in Lagos… kindly, advise
