You don't know me, don't make assumptions. I don't berate players for missing chances too much. I will hail a player who miss chances and still keep making the runs to get those chances. When you should worry is when your striker stop getting chances, not when they miss chances. Strikers only convert 20-30% of their chances even Van Persie one of the deadliest of them all. You guys live in social media era where every chance is highlighted and made into shorts, and you think that's what football is about. Strikers been missing chances since time immemorial, what matters is whether he will put himself in that position to get that chance again and again.

If you check the run Mount made for the first chance, it was at lung busting full speed and taken first time on the half volley. He had no right to even get to that one and the complexity of the finish as a first time half volley after such a run, he's absolved in my eye.

The one he fücked up is the second one, he had no composure to take a second touch to steady himself. He tend to always shoot without taking his time, and I doubt he will ever improve in that aspect, but it was no worse than Salah or Havertz one-on-one with the keeper which they had plenty of time to run down on the keeper, steady themselves and pick their spots.

the kind excuses you churn out for ur favs, imagine if they reversed roles with mount and havertz ...na generational flop we for they hear.. put #give mane or jota those has chance of a half volley they will hit the target but mount is sparred
