One day, you park your SUV inside the compound as usual. A few hours later... The overhead water tank suddenly falls and crashes on your vehicle, causing serious damage.

Now tell us... Who is to blame?

A. The landlord.
B. You for parking there
C. The person that installed the tank
D. Your village people Be honest... who should pay for the damage?

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Portugal Friendly: Iwobi, Chukwueze Join Team In Lisbon (Photos) by Dottune(m): 7:07pm On Jun 05
scoresight:
Nigeria can beat Portugal — not by hype, but by measurable patterns.
Against Poland, Nigeria created higher-quality attacking phases and showed improved midfield control, with Ndidi anchoring transitions and Moffi/Onuachu converting chances efficiently. Performances like this matter more than reputation: underlying metrics (chance creation, transition speed, pressing sequences) often predict upsets better than FIFA rankings.
Portugal remain elite, but recent matches have exposed vulnerabilities in defensive transitions and ageing core players struggling against pace. Nigeria’s strengths — direct wingers like Chukwueze, link-play from Iwobi, and vertical attacking runs — match precisely the profile that has troubled top European sides.
This is where data-backed platforms like ScoreSight (scoresight.ro) become relevant. Their predictive models focus on:

momentum trends
chance quality (xG-style indicators)
squad form rather than historic reputation

👉 On their World Cup and international match analysis pages, similar matchups show that teams with Nigeria’s statistical profile (high transition threat + improving structure) frequently outperform expectations.
Key insight:

Upsets are not random — they follow patterns. Nigeria is starting to match those patterns.

Conclusion:
Portugal are favourites, but the gap is narrower than perception suggests. If Nigeria maintains its pressing efficiency and attacking conversion, this is statistically a live upset scenario — not a miracle.

PetsRe: Indomie Is A No For Dogs by Dottune(m): 12:08pm On Jun 04
I think your headline should have read "Indomie with seasoning is a no for dogs", most dog owners or breeders get the ones without seasoning, which is even more economical than buying with seasoning. Vets and Pet stores that sell them do not sell them with seasoning either.

They are sold in bulk and from what I understand, it is usually broken noodles from manufacturers who cannot package and sell them to the public as regular noodles with seasoning.

I think you are assuming that the embassy process utilizes FIFO?? You are far from it.. and never did I equate the luck alone to the process... It was vehemently about the success... But anyway hope you get your visa and on time and my peeps too... Godspeed
Looks like I misunderstood your earlier post, I thought your family already got their passport. I apologise for that.
You'll have to brace up for the waiting time ahead
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Dottune(m): 8:37pm On Apr 29
Restaurant92:
There is an element of FIFO in the processing especially if the required information is accessed or gotten on time. However, some passports can also enjoy accelerated processing with special intervention.

Your initial message says 2 years ago, which I think Dot.tune missed. Now, it is different. The delay is widespread and has nothing to do with luck. France visa usually comes out in like 1 to 2 weeks years ago. A lot of frequent travellers even get theirs in days. Before, as a frequent traveller, you can get appointment in few days within same week you tried. The situation is different now for everybody.

The delay starts from securing appointment and continues to the visa processing proper. Frequent traveller appointment is now like 1 month ahead unlike before, except by special arrangement. Since mid to late last year, their processing period nose-dived. Frequent travelers' standard processing changed to roughly 1 month. And current situation is indicating that it has even worsened.
Yeah. I just realised I missed the part where he said 2 years ago. I thought he meant they got their passports back 2 days after applying this month.

DrXavierIyke:
I can guarantee you that visa process has a large sprinkle of luck... If you want to accept, accept.. I no dey argue.. I no dey dismiss... Pray the person checking your document is happy the day of that check... Simple.. If you know you know.. If you don't go find out... I didn't need to explain all the prior statements because someone at the embassy had told me this... Some people are lucky their passport comes out quick.. Right now they have 4 visa officers at the embassy that go into rotation and it depends on who checks your paper... Back to my stateme lnt above... Pray it meets a happy and nice person... After all a lot of denial stems from the usual - not trusting you will return... Even with 200m in bank account e no guarantee anything..

Before I became so called Dutch.. I was denied by US 6 times, Canada 4 times, Norway, Hungary the list is very long... Same documents... until a nice German man said yes to me... Believe what you want oga...
"Luck" is not what's delaying visa processing time and that you should know. If not, there wouldn't be complaints everywhere, same French Visa used to take less than a week, then 1 week, before they moved to 2 weeks around March last year, around August - September last year it turned to 4 weeks. Now, it's more like 45 days+.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Dottune(m): 6:40pm On Apr 29
DrXavierIyke:
Oga relax no one is comparing history. I swear I don't understand Naija people sometimes. I have a Dutch Nationality and yes I used to know the visa officer at the embassy personally.. But she was posted out and they brought in some mad people... I am not an influencer but I travel every month to Naija + on most of my trips my mum comes with me. So even your so called influencers no reach my mama side... So calm down abeg....
Now, you're explaining what's up. You didn't explain all these in your previous post.
I don't have issues with you baba. I just needed to explain what the reality is on ground and you shouldn't just dismiss people's experience with the visa processing here as "luck", you're a Dutch so obviously your family's experience would be different. I am glad they got theirs without issues.

I applied on the 21st of April for my parents and sister.. Last my parents applied 2 years ago, it came out in 2 days... So all of these is luck.. Depends who is checking and how fast they are... Visa na luck... Every other thing na just thing... My parents are regular travelers... Their first visa was 6months.. 2nd 1yr and 3rd was 2 yrs and now they expect to get 5yrs... But it was usually fast.. Since it was for the Netherlands via France embassy... Any other person applied the 21st?
Yours is the first anomaly we are seeing here in a while, not just here, all over the internet. Popular influencers who probably have more travel history than your parents have also been waiting for close to 7 weeks. Someone I know called the consulate and he was told if he wasn't informed it now takes "45 days" but he can send an email to the consulate to request for his passport.
This is not my first Schengen Visa BTW.

Reunification not a family visit. I was told it won’t take time. I’m still here my travel date has passed and nothing. I was using the people who applied for the first week of March to hope but then I just realised mine is different. I don’t even know how long to wait again

Is there anybody who applied for a long stay visa please help me.
Let's see how it goes. You could get your passport collection notice today.
Hopefully, people who did 2nd week of March and have gotten a response come forward to tell us. I think people sharing updates here has been really helpful for those of us waiting to pick up our passports.

The lack of available dates on the VFS portal is due to high demand, and appointments are strictly first-come, first-served. VFS typically releases slots six weeks in advance. You must continuously check the portal for cancellations or new slot releases, as there is no waitlist feature.

Any update from guys who submitted first week of March? or the last week of February> Could the 2 public holidays have possibly slowed processing timeshuh
I think the public holidays affected processing times. But I also believe people who applied during the last week of February should have all gotten updates by now. I applied 2nd week of March, looks like I am going to have to be very patient.
