You place a[b]buy stop[/b] above an area where you think price is going to break so that once it does, if you're not available, your broker automatically fills you in a buy trade. The opposite for sell stops. The buy stop order must be above the current price.

In a buy limit, you place the order below where price is currently at. This is if you believe that price will head lower before continuing back upwards so as to get filled in if you're not available in case it heads to that area. The opposite goes for sell limits. The buy limit must be below current price.

15 minutes. But my major trading timeframe is the H4, while I drop down to the H1 to check the behavior of the market. Any timeframe fower than the H1 are mostly used for my entries.
