These government is confused with it's propaganda.

Tinubu wants to force his imaginary achievements on the people, irrespective of the suffering.

Tariff is extremely high over the increased tax. Ordinary Nigerians can't afford it..... How are they enjoying the light?

Estimated bill is on a very high side.... Prepaid meter is now very expensive to acquire.

The 40% is made up of the rich class and a tiny fraction of the middle class....
I can't confirm his 40% data but I can tell you that in Aguda and Surulere where I live, there has been no power outage for the past 6 days not a single minute outage. And this has been a normal occurrence for months.

Investigation like employee reviews among others
Do you investigation about this new company

Well I do like to share experience rather than advising. Here are the key considerations that can serve as a checklist

1. Verify if the company is owned by an indian (crucial for various reasons).
2. Request a meeting with the finance department's top executives to grasp their business operations before accepting the offer.
3. Inquire about their Management Information System (MIS) presentation frequency to the board of directors (potential red flag if they have backlogs).
4. Ask those top guys in the accounting and finance dept if they conduct annual statutory audits or they only do tax account & inventory (cos u may not be able to do proper accounting & inventory there)
5. Find out the number of directors (beware of single-director companies, as they can pose challenges).
Thank you so much for these explanations.

I'll do the findings and come back here to review.

Career750k In Lagos Or 1.1 Million In Abeokuta by Doyindele122(op): 2:13pm On Sep 24, 2024
So straight to my dilemma...

I currently work at a Top FMCG firm who are manufacturers and marketers of popular household brands in Nigeria. This business has been in Nigeria for over 59 years

Another FMCG business with about 8 years presence in Nigeria located in one of the south-western cities is offering me 1.1 million naira for the same role as my current company.

Is this move advisable career wise. I know that extra 350k salary outside lagos is huge. But I'm just a bit skeptical about leaving a Top Company for a company that is less than 10 years old.

Please share your take.
