Politics › Re: 2027: Tinubu Will Win If Coalition Picks A Southerner – Kenneth Okonkwo by Dpharisee: 8:15am On Jul 09, 2025 |
franchasofficia: As a strong Obidient who also believes in Peter Obi, I strongly agree with Kenneth Okonkwo.
To defeat Tinubu, Northwest, Northeast and Southeast votes must be completely locked no matter the rigging.
We must factor in INEC and the security. Tinubu's only confidence and assurance to win a reelection is in massive rigging of the 2027 Presidential election.
To counter his plans and make it come to nothing, the coalition must work together to lock the overwhelming votes that will come from:
Northwest Northeast Southeast
and the only way to lock those votes is by using a strong Northerner like Atiku or El Rufai as the Presidential flagbearer with a strong Southeasterner like Peter Obi as the Vice or Running mate.
With Atiku/Obi ticket, Tinubu may not even contest because he knows he is gone already.
With Atiku/Obi ticket, nobody born of a woman can rig:
Northwest Northeast Southeast
and live to tell the story. Any attempt to change the result like 2023 will lead to national chaos which may turn to full national revolution.
The coalition should not make the mistake of allowing a Southerner get the ticket if not Tinubu will win.
We must be realistic in our calculations.
The whole North are angry with Tinubu, they are the ones to lead the voting out of Tinubu alongside Igbos whom Tinubu ignored/sidelined. And the North don't have the level of enlightenment we Southerners have, they have a voting pattern. Despite what Tinubu did for Buhari and picking a Muslim as Vice, plus constant donations to the North in the past, Northerners were still reluctant to vote for Tinubu in 2023 such that Tinubu had to open Lagos state treasury vault to buy INEC to help him out which is why Tinubu has been angry with the North, now think about it, is it Peter Obi, an Igbo man that the North will troop out en masse to vote for in 2027?
Northerners usually prefer their own, so if we are sure we want to unseat Tinubu in 2027, the coalition party must field Atiku and Obi in one ticket. Tambuwal cannot do it, El Rufai and Obi can also do it but Atiku is the best man to fly the coalition ticket.
Anybody telling Obi and Obedients otherwise is trying to gaslight them so that Tinubu will win North Central shared their votes for Tinubu, Atiku and Obi and Buhari's 12m block votes in the North is not transferable |

Eriokanmi: Okonkwo is just another bwala and reno. He seems to be licking atiku's ass. He knows he can never be in a good book of Obi. He's been spewing jargon lately. How on earth will atiku win any state in the south as it stands today? The only candidate that can do that conveniently is Obi and he knows this. Kenneth belongs to the league of anywhere belle face politicians and his intentions became evident too early while in LP. We need committed Nigerians who will reply move her forward, not the jegudujera like him. Atiku should step down or he'll lose again. Those pushing him are only interested in his dollars. He's going nowhere. Had inec not saved tinubu in 2023 with rigging, obi won that election. Mahmoud, being a fulani man dared not touch atiku's votes. They don't betray each other and that's why he left his votes intact. What happened in rivers and benue alone were enough to drag inec to the world court unfortunately, its a national issue. It wouldn't go beyond Nigeria. I don't see that happening in 2027 except they want to bring Nigeria down in crisis. I'm sure no man's wicked ambition will be worth that.
Peter Obi/Elrufai will seal the deal. Elrufai will capture some core northern states for Obi as the latter clears the middle belt, maybe except kogi. Tinubu can't grab all the south western states. I said he'd lose lagos in 2023 but they called me names. We still dey ground, same 2023 spoilers for tinubu in Lagos and well do it again, if Obi runs. Things were even much better in 2023 than they are now so, Tinubu's chance is slim here. I don't see any miracle that can change that and same will happen in other states in the country. Truth they day, is always bitter. Those supporting him know this deep down, that he has messed up big time. Mahmoud suppressed Obi's votes in Rivers and Benue States but left Atiku's votes intact, I imagine if INEC didn't interfere with the polls Tinubu couldn't have won it |

Apart from traumatized, Ronaldo I know will break down in tears cus he can't handle his emotions and that will give the media food for writing about him and focusing on him He cries and becomes emotional just from losing an important match not to talk of a team mate he loved so much. EponObi: See them. The "I own nobody anything" camp.
CR7 is the national team captain for goodness sakes. That's too insensitive. It would cost him literally nothing flying from and back to his vacation for the one day event. Just pay the last respect and show solidarity with other team members.
The citizens of Portugal are right to condemn him.
The narcissist even said he doesn't want it to be about him. What a silly excuse. There were many stars at the burial from Liverpool, nobody gave a f about them. Two blood brothers, two footballers from your f country died just like that, burnt to ashes and you made the burial all about you. Damn! Like Ronaldo said, he will be traumatized if he attends. My closest friend died in a car crash, I avoided seeing his mangled body because it would be traumatizing for me to take off from my mind. Ronaldo may later go to the graveyard to do a private paying of respect and laying of wreaths out of the spotlight. I fully understand his situation, he has been unable to get his father's burial off his head, people are built differently. His words in reaction to Jota's death "this doesn't make sense" says it all that he is devastated and looking for a way out without having mental breakdown |

sylve11: Benue State is enduring immense suffering. One can't help but wonder what wrongs were committed by the founding fathers of Benue State. They need to apologise to their Igbo neighbours and ask for forgiveness and closure for what they did to Igbos after escaping from the far north during the pogrom, stopping trains and ripping apart pregnant Igbo women and the worst part is that Benue people killed Igbos to take revenge for the deaths of Fulani leaders like Sardauna whom they claimed were killed in the debunked Igbo Coup story and not that they had any conflict with Igbos. Meanwhile Igbos have never been happy about their plight, they are always the first to lament on behalf of Benue people |

wink2015: Igbo Presidency Will Be Difficult With This Kind of Negative Publicity about Igbo expansionist behaviour.
The way some Igbos are damaging the image of the Igbo nation is not helping their political aspirations.
How do you expect Nigeria to trust you with the presidency when you keep attacking the identity of other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria?
Let’s be clear:
There are Edo descendants in Onitsha who proudly trace their roots back to the ancient Benin Empire.
There are Igala communities in both Anambra and Enugu states.
There are Ibibio communities in Abia State, particularly around the Arochukwu area.
Even the Abiriba people are historically distinct from the Igbo.
Igbos in the South East have even forced this distinct group who are not really Igbos to drop their historical connection with their ancestry and make them appear as if every tribe in the south east is Igbo.
This is a very big lies.
The King in Igala do not interfere in what is happening in the South East.
The Oba of Benin and the Benin people do not interfere with what is happening in the South East.
The Kings in Ibibio do not call out the Igbos despite the fact that their people are indigenous to Abia state.
Why is Biafra Igbos so concerned about Igbanke, Ikwerres and the rest ethnic nationalities that do not want to follow the Igbos to Biafra?
Look at Lagos State: The Igbo dominate almost all the seafaring businesses at the Apapa Ports and other parts of Lagos. The Yoruba people opened the doors for Igbo traders and professionals to thrive in Lagos.
At the political level, Lagos State has shown goodwill towards the Igbo:
Joe Igbokwe, an Igbo son, held a top position in Lagos politics.
Ben Ifeanyi Akabueze, another prominent Igbo figure, served as Commissioner for Budget and Planning under Tinubu and was later appointed to a major federal role in Abuja.
Even today, an Imo State woman has just been appointed as the first female spokesperson for the Nigerian Army — another example of national inclusion.
But sadly, the Igbo have not reciprocated such goodwill towards others.
In several parts of the South-South and South West, the Igbo show blatant disregard for indigenous cultures that recognize kings and traditional authorities. Instead, they impose their Ohaneze leadership structures.
This kind of behavior is what fuels distrust — and makes an Igbo presidency even harder to achieve. Cry us a river with your gibberish, keeping Igbos down is suppressing yourself |
Culture › Re: Ohanaeze Ndigbo Hail Igbanke Community For Embracing Igbo Roots by Dpharisee: 11:05am On Apr 26, 2025 |
viodemus: The igbo lovers that cared to know, already knew that Igbankes and some other clans there (that should do their own research), are true nwafors. They are Angels.
Slavery, especially late arab to transatlantic slavery, really altered the igbo unity. While the civil war, increased the division. Igbos everywhere became an endangered specie. If you were igbos around hostile neighbors, you will be demeaned and forced to renounce your great tribe, and still not absorbed to the haters tribe. Igbos in these hostile areas all over Nigeria , still stay humble and by the grace of chukwu okike abiama, they maintained any culture that they could.
The great Igbo tribe is more than a case study. It is bigger than we all can imagine. The Igbo spiritual connection is like no other tho. Only nwafors have that spirit.
Igbos are indigenous to Igbanke, dem no be visitors looking for refugee status. so may God continue to bless the great people of Igbanke. Your Igbo kits and kin, are with you in all levels. Stay humble, and do what you can for general progress.
Some hole in the brain people up before my post, are using their small local govt tribes to be stretching neck; and supervising igbo division.; so that, they can easily suppress and oppress the igbos.
Just a reminder, igbos no dey claim people wey no be their own. Our own na our own. Most igbos no hate others, but igbos no dey wake up go claim people. Most igbos view calabar/ibibio/annang/efik/etc as allies. Our sibling na our sibling, that one na God plan. Any one igbo person from anywhere can lead all igbos in many great ways.
Why is it only in Igbo unity that haters go on sleepless night override. During Ikwerre/etchie/opobo time, dem go overboard, now during Igbanke, dem dey go insane. They want siblings to be estranged to each other. But Chukwu pass dem.
These Igbo oppressors, go as far as telling the igbos that some nwafors, are igala. Can you imagine that? How can Igbos that came back from igala, especially during the war, become igala.
Make everybody chill and mind them business. The Igbos know themselves in Nigeria, for the most part. So, let the great Igbo tribe exist.
Igbos unity is God's plan. Igbo hatred keeps Nigeria together, the only time some people unite is if something has to do with bringing Igbos down, that's how they spent years marginalising Igbos in the Army when it was all sweet and rossy, now that Fulani and Kanuri led terrorists are decimating our Army they are now moving from village to village begging Igbo youths to enlist, they are not going to Yoruba communities |

But some people cheered on the clown of Kiev. And he jumped into a stewpid conflict without thinking. Now this.. How many hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have been killed now? How many cities destroyed and occupied for ever? Economy, totally destroyed. Russia riding high. So what are those gains for the Ukrainians?
