The old man should not have generalized these much. A statesman who understands some dimensions of impunity that some people makes others go through and willing to bring in honorable sanity will not sound this general. I hope that the Ẹ̀gbá youths and Ẹ̀gbá people can attest to this. He accused the British, yet that is what he and many of his age allies are made of. What has their generation done as a leader ? Cease opportunities and limit freedom of the youth and later cast blame? I detest selfish people. But the poor youths should not continue living this way, regardless of what limit the economy imposes. This is very wrong sir. Anyone old enough to be working and earning should choose their privacy pattern and be independent as responsible citizens. If house rent that used to be affordable even for the unemployed is now unaffordable, even for the employed categories, it should not be so with people's wage and their income. Nothing should be left behind in a rising economy, that is why it is termed rising. Otherwise, something is wrong with that system. Where are we taking Lagos to with this kind of public order, boss? This is not right to say of an utmost eagerlitarian society. Sustainable Development Goals-SDGs global accountability is barely three years away from now and this is what is trending from Lagos. The youths deserves decent lives and they should be given full support. Increasing property rents even after owners have realized more than double of their cost price is no way forward. We should rather focus on cutting multidimensional poverty and building sustainable ecosystems for a prosperous governance. I am sure that the people will always support responsible leadership that respects fundamental human rights. If you are contesting for a position with this mentality I am sure it will never go as intended. Osun State just completed theirs and I don't think that Lagos is excempted, come '27 sir. That's not what he's saying. You need to understand Economics well before talking anyhow. Try get that Increasing SSCE price and other stuffs you're raising does not necessarily increase poverty. The Emir emphasized that government should implement policies that increases citizens welfare and reduce poverty through inclusive growth, alongside other policy mechanisms.
