Thank you so much for your response. I strongly welcome further advice and guidance from you if you don't mind.

Hi Dpsi,

The answers to the first two questions would depend on the admission requirements of the school and program you are applying to. You should find this info on their websites or by contacting the graduate coordinator.
Not sure I can help with the other questions.

I wish you the best!

Hello,

This is my first time of posting here. I'm interested in PhD program in US and plan to write my GRE/TOEFL by July or August for the Spring/Fall admission circle.
Below is my brief profile:

BSc Industrial Physics - 4.07/5.00
MSc Geophysics - 4.0/5.0
HND Mech Eng - 3.63/4.00
ND Mech Eng - 3.68/4.00
Currently, I work as an assistant Lecturer in a University here in Naija.

Programs of interest:
PhD Physics (Soft Matter or Nuclear)
PhD Nuclear Engineering
PhD Mechanical Engineering

Here are my grey area of concern:
1. Is there need for me to write another GRE Physics subject after writing the GRE General paper?
2. Do I need to convert my transcripts to WES?
3. What option(s) (Physics or Engineering) is best for me at this point for easier admission? I'm interested in both disciplines; so anyone can serve base on advice.
4. If there's any possible GRE prep group I can possibly join, please kindly add me to it to ease my preparation.
5. Do I need to apply for another Masters or straight PhD if I choose the Engineering field?
5. My email - comrade.dpsi@gmail.com

Thank you very much as you advise appropriately.
