Politics / Re: Tinubu Must Name Something Big After Chinua Achebe by dragunov: 2:07pm On Jul 14
Tellmeastory:
The FG must name something big in this country after the legendary Professor Chinua Achebe.

I am a great fan and reader of Wole Soyinka, by the way, so this is not based on any beef with the great Nobel-winning writer, who certainly earned the right to have the National Theatre named after him by President Tinubu.

But we must not put Chinua Achebe, the Booker Prize winning author of Africa’s greatest novel, Things Fall Apart, in the position of the proverbial lizard of his great book who fell from the tall iroko tree, and promised to praise himself if no one else did.

That book is Required Reading in the curricula of schools all over the world, from Kenya to the USA.

It has been translated into over 100 languages worldwide, and remains till date, the biggest selling novel by an African, bringing great honour to Nigeria.

Achebe was also an erudite advocate for good governance and govt accountability.

According to wiki

“Chinua Achebe…. was a Nigerian novelist, poet, and critic who is regarded as a central figure of modern African literature. His first novel and magnum opus, Things Fall Apart (1958), occupies a pivotal place in African literature and remains the most widely studied, translated, and read African novel.

Along with Things Fall Apart, his No Longer at Ease (1960) and Arrow of God (1964) complete the "African Trilogy".

Later novels include A Man of the People (1966) and Anthills of the Savannah (1987).

In the West, Achebe is often referred to as the "father of African literature", although he vigorously rejected the characterization.“

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinua_Achebe

……..

Gentlemen, we must honour this man.

Is this now a competition? Go and carry him now. Na by force? Wait until the Agulu fraud becomes president in 3050. Kayyy?

Religion / Re: Meet Pastor Who Cannot Walk On Sinful Ground Because He Believes He Is Too Holy by dragunov: 8:56am On Jul 14
obedience4:
Meet Pastor John Mwangi of Revival church in Githurai, Kenya. According to him, the servant of God cannot walk on sinful ground and wants to be carried by his congregation until they buy him a Range Rover 2023 Model

John Mwangi, a pastor from Githurai, says he is holy and close to God. He says he can’t walk on sinful ground because he’s holy and close to God.

So this pastor’s followers carry him on a chair like an old king or lord. People are worried about this because he seems to be more holy than Jesus, who is the Son of God, even though Jesus never asked his disciples to carry him. Some people say that this is the end of the world, just as the prophets said it would be.

John Mwangi is a church planter with Sozo Ministries in Kenya, Africa, and serves as our national director for Kenya as well. He and his wife Triza launched the Juja, Kenya church in February of 2017, which has since grown to over 50 adult members plus kids. Your generous support enables him to serve God’s Kingdom in East Africa by training leaders, evangelizing the lost, and planting more churches.

prophets said it would be.

I know they will blame their lies deceit and incompetence on our brothers and neigbours. I know they will make it look like it is our brothers and dear neigbours are responsible for the killings, kidnapping all over Nigeria.

I know they will move the propaganda to the frontpage Page to fuel more tribalism, hate, bigotry, nepotism against our neigbours. I also know they will use these propaganda against our brothers to divert the attention of Nigerians from the failures of the mandate thief.

I know that they have been blaming the Igbos for the failures of Nigeria since the British "gave " Nigeria her " independence ".

Our brothers are the reason there is terrorism like fulani herdsmen masquerading as bandits, iswap, bokoharam. Our neigbours are responsible for the poverty, Inflation, unemployment, devaluation of the naira, Blackout, corruption etc

If you are a failure in your own responsibilities in life because of your hatred envy and jealousy in life, just pass the blame on our brothers fröm the East.

If Nigeria want to see more development, security,, peace, and others, you know what to do as a hater, just blame our dear brothers and neigbours.

If you snatch, grab and run away with what is obviously greater than your capacity to do what is right or wrong, when the realities of your actions speaks and reeks of cluelessness, incompetence and rascality, just pass tge blame on the Igbos.

It seems like Nigeria will never move forward but only backward because of our brothers. Our neigbours are the reason insecurity langersehnte and grow worst in Nigeria.

Look at the thread to see our brothers as the problems caused by crooks of APC buhari and Tinubu. Early on a sunday morning, bolded etc.

This thread is not to find any solutions to the insecurity problems caused by the chanters of sai baba and builders of Lagos but to divert attention from the failures and daftness of Tinubu using tribalism grin grin grin

Cry all you want. Wail all you want with long epistle The criminals caught are Ibos and insha Jesus, they will face the music.

Shame on all the South West political leaders and the so called leaders for not taking meaningful action about the so called ritualist from the region..

For how long would those idiots continue to be disgracing the region while we have the so called leaders.

Modified: To those saying did I read the news? Please do I need to wait for another ritualists threads before doing the ranting on what have been disgracing the region for decades.

Mind you kidnapping is global but ritualist is not. It's just too shameful to be reading such from SW in this century

If you think your incoherent post is a preemptive attempt to stop people on this forum from recognizing the fact that Ibos have now infiltrated the SW to abduct and demand ransom, then kill just like their Fulani counterpart, then you're a huge, organic joke. They are now also infesting our forests like rodents to copy the MO of their Fulani brothers'. Like 9 of these same folks were unceremoniously dropped by the police last week when they went to Ladipo to kidnap again.

This is sick. I pray the radical left do not plunge America into a civil war. The rhetoric in the media about Donald Trump since he started running has been incredibly divisive. Trump's head tilt was what prevented the bullet from hitting the back of his head and it even hit his ear. Bloodied and having just survived an assasination attempt, the man still created a moment of inspiration by raising a fist. That shot was inches away from plunging the country into a civil war. And now that they've tried to kill him with a gun, they might try to poison him and that will be the last straw for the Republicans. A civil war in America will be devastating for the whole world and markets worldwide. I just hate leftists especially those in the media. Donald Trump will come out victorious and win regardless.

Same nonsense you spewed in 2021. Mumu. Your country is burning and you're talking nonsense here. Bozos everywhere.
