I don't know what happened between them, but I have observed that most polygamous and promiscuous Nigerian men are quick to deny and abandon their children, if they are not in good terms with their mothers.

So many men have kids outside wedlock which they know about, but they don't care about these kids. It's insane to treat your kids differently regardless of whether they were born outside wedlock or not.

At OP, don't ever consider coming to Nigeria to start a business, you will regret it. Put all your effort in learning german, or you can try Ireland or the Netherlands. I have a friend in Netherlands, he said the place is nice, friendly and he is raising his children well. Most people there speak English too.

You should have factored all these before getting to 40. From 35, or as soon as you were leaving Nigeria, you should have had 3 or 4 Nigerian girls that you were communicating and doing friendship with. Then as time goes on, you narrow down to 2 before picking your wife from among them. At 40, a lot of Nigerians girls below 30 would not want to marry you except the desperate ones. You didn't plan your life well at all.

I’m unmarried though, and that has been a disadvantage. I could have sent her as student elsewhere while I accompany her as dependent leading to a smooth transition.

Also about UK, from my research, the only viable course I can do there may be nursing so I can meet up with the new salary threshold, it’s on my list but quite expensive and time consuming.

The discrimination in schools and in career is quite obvious here. In one of the Afro groups I belong to, several mothers always complain about how their kids are treated at school and other adults complain bitterly also about workplace subtle harassment etc.

I prefer to be in a place where I can express myself confidently and if possible grow to the acme of my career, and where my kids and family would be welcomed and mostly happy. These are some considerations why I want to leave if possible and it must be to an English speaking country.

Language is the soul and key to any country. It’s usually underrated but I know better now.

The best and most realistic option considering your age and the time factor is to look for a good Nigerian girl in Nigeria and marry and bring her over as a student, or find one in Germany.
