North America is not EU ....it depends on the kind of visa you're issued...if its schengen visa you can easily move around the EU hassle free....to Germany, and the Scandinavian countries. In fact the whole of west Europe except UK and Ireland. If you're issued Italian student visa...then you're stuck in Italy bro!

About one being stuck in Italy because of study visa, that's far from true. The study visa only grants you entry into Italy after which youll get a 1yr stay permit within 8days. That permit will give you access to schengen states. Its not good to be all negative.

Can one go for the interview for the borsa Italia at the Italian embassy in Lagos??

For study visa in Abuja, you can go to the VFS office. They'll send your visa application documents to Lagos and ull receive it in a week or two. Congrats

Is it too early to start visa application for those resuming in September??I have my DV already but ionno if I can put in for study visa now cos I read an earlier thread about someone who has obtained his already.
