CAF were right on this. Apart from deducting points gained against the lowest placed sides, goals scored were also deducted. Unfortunately, Burkina Faso scored most of its goals against Djibouti, the lowest placed in their group. We drew twice, 1-1, with Zimbabwe and hence there was no deduction from our goal difference. 2 Likes 1 Share |
