Christianity Etc › Re: Used To Be Scared Of Hell fire When Young But Not Anymore, Why? by DrDoc: 9:57am On Jan 19, 2025 |
Queengee: When I was young, I used to be very scared of hell especially when in church and the preacher narrated the horrors of hell, but now things have changed.
I don't know maybe because eyes has seen many things in three decades of my existence, really don't get scared of hell fire anymore.
Anytime someone or pastors talk about it, it sounds like every other takes to me, I think something is wrong with me, does anyone here now feel the same way?
Men of God in the house please how can I go back to my former self and start believing hell is real? Hope you haven't become Lukewarm ? |

lekonso: I quiet agree with you on this. May be the best thing to do will be to scrap the POS business, since they have become a curse rather than a blessing. You carry your money to the bank, they accept any amount, only to attempt to withdraw, it becomes a problem, this should not be the case Abi |
Business › Re: CBN fines nine Banks N150m each for failing to dispense cash via ATMs by DrDoc: 2:01am On Jan 15, 2025 |
Mexyz: The way people walk into the banks to make deposits everyday is the same way people walk into the bank to withdraw. Now let's say a branch of a bank has 10Million naira in their vault at the beginning of the day, you're not expecting them to load the whole of that money inside the ATM because they need to serve their own customers too. Meanwhile, one ATM can take as much as 5-6million, imagine a branch with say 3 ATMs will need to have 15-18million to load(Take note that before 12noon, this ATMs would run out of cash) Then we have customers (Fuel stations, supermarkets, etc) of banks that get huge cash receipts daily, instead of bringing the cash into the banking system, they would rather sell to POS operators at a profit. So how exactly do you want banks to get cash to service customers? You're talking based on your experience, yes I understand but you should also know that those within the system know what's going on and nobody would want to come out to accuse the regulators because of sanctions/fines and the rest. No doubt that there's cash out there, but trust me the cash is not within the banking system and CBN should do the needful to bring the cash in. You just want to argue. If withdrawals from counter cancels deposits like you claim, how then do banks fill up their ATMs back in the past ? You also dare to say when CBN are ready to make cash available they know what to do. You only want to argue. What you fail to understand is that CBN has the data of the financial flow in all banks and detailed information you do not know. Stop defending rubbish. I have been to my bank that failed to pay substantially across the counter, failed to load the ATM, yet in my very presence, GMG of cash was brought in for deposits, even the next day, loading cash is an issue.. Stop defending nonsense |

One
Always have a written contract that stipulates the duties and reaponsibilities of each party.
Two
Do investment, do not partner. People who cone with partnership vibe come to dupe you. I know so, cause one wanted to partner with 10M, i declined that i wont accept even 50M. Do investment, let them bring an amount of money, you use it to work
Three
Stop sharing your connections with people. The large land, market to sell garri, details on the garri factory setup. You moved from partnership to enslavement and I'm sure your consxience would have been telling you but you refused to listen
Do this :
Go to a police station to report the matter for business partnership fraud or speak with a lawyer that is affordable and get authorization to harvest his crops. Stop doing business like a Christian. Take charge. Christianity isnt weakness. If they slap you by mistake, let hem die by correction |

TimiRume: 1 Timothy 6:3-12 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses Excellent response |

boombah: I need honest opinion/ advice on this please, I have just acquired a 5 acre of farmland somewhere in Ibadan, I am looking to focus solemnly on crops like Cassava and Maize. As a new farmer, I want to make sure things are done correctly to get maximum yield , I plan on doing the right test and using fertilizers as well as getting an irrigation system(most important) but someway somehow I feel the need to find a mentor or someone who can guide me through this as I have been following so many threads on here ,but I feel with some sort of professional mentoring , I can do better than I already know .
- I have plans of building a facility for workers on farm but I’m not sure if I can include that for starters -I am considering a drip irrigation system - Install a Fence and a Solar powered cctv as I'm away - Is it advisable to plant with varieties of both crops or stick to one
Thank you Wow. Many mistakes already. Chrck my siggy and speak with me on WhatsApp |
