If elections continue to be conducted in Nigeria like the Edo gubernatorial election, our politicians will be forced to have a rethink. This is because all the money they use to buy over voters will be wasted. Most people collected the cash from the APC but went on to vote PDP. Knowing fully well that it was the cash meant for the development of the state that were diverted to buy voters. Imagine borrowing money for political campaign in the name of one project or the other. Imagine presenting a yearly budget with the soul intent of diverting the funds for other purposes not really related to the budgeted project. But for advancement of political domination.

That will be their greatest error. They better remain where they are. The most miscalculated move is the man who decamped on the eve before the election.

Now that Obaseki has secured his second term as the Governor of Edo state, it is time to implement the electoral campaign promises made to the people of Edo state.

He believes that the children have to sort out themselves in the market square of life.Some persons believe that buying Ferrari for the children may not be the best thing for them as they may not know the true value. Others still believe that the younger generation may not be able to maintain such a luxury without the input on the parent. For me everyone is entitled to his individual opinion as it all depends on the individual viewing point.

It is now becoming obviously clear that we are having two counrties in one.

We can only exercise a little faith because Osibanjo is involved. Otherwise, with the games being played with government projects, budgetary projects and social welfare projects in this country, the hope is very faint indeed.
