People here are saying its favouritism that made judges to save Winner over Elizabeth this week. They say they want to push her to finally. So when they save Elizabeth last week and put Winner on probation, it wasn't favouritism, then they were not pushing Elizabeth to the final? It's funny how we argue on social media!

I don't know what you mean by Fabu. I lived in Canada and we buy most of our plantains in Walmat or superstores. You can off course gets in Africa shop if you want varieties. Like I said I have been to many other countries where it is sold so what do you mean by Fabu? Like someone said, is plantain an African name?

This is a dailymail.uk article as far back as 2008 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1028530/Why-picking-plantain-exotic-produce-filling-supermarkets.html

What kind of white girl is this? I have been to many foreign countries where plantain was served with my meal. How could she claim she doesn't know when plantain is even sold in most big grocery stores!

Marvellous of season 5 did it better

Marvellous was my favourite that season but I am sorry he didn't do it close to Dehinde. The closest will be Mike in season 2, they called him king of swags but Dehinde's energy is electric!

WTF!!..Darey art alade a product of project fame....he was an anchor on the first couple of seasons b4 Joseph benjamin took over & never a contestant..plz get yur facts right!!

The first project fame was continent wide and I am not sure if it was sponsored by MTN and that is where Darey participated. It was when MTN took over and it became west Africa that seasons started and Iyanya won. Check the link below and it's you that needs to get his fact right.

I quite agree with people that said this year did not meet up with the usual project fame we have known. I kind of see the contestant struggling to perform (not vocals alone). That was the kind of form I thought Dehinde would bring (Though he still got my support) but he has not. Combining vocals with performance, I will give it to Jeff or Arewa. Ada's performance at a point use to be the best. I liked Chike a lot but he didnt use what he has well, he got more than he gave.

Of late, I have been trying to check up some past performances in Idols west Africa and Project fame. Performances from people like Timi, Omawumi in Idol west Africa season 1 (and even Lara George), the KC guy that one this year Idols, Iyanya, Praise, Niii of season 1, Nicholas, Mike, Chidinma, Olawale, Immaculate, Shola, Geofrey, (even clement) etc (of past project fame) show performances that were seamless and without too much struggles. Some said Clement did not perform, even on the chair, check his exppressions, use of hands and body movement. He is way far better than a lot of contestants we have this year. I hope we could see more in the remaining few weeks from the contestants. I also agree that the absence of Kaffy has not help thier choreography.

MTN/Ultima studio needs to do more so that project fame would not loose it. I have been an ardent fan since inception and though I am no more based in Naija, I still follow with a lot of passion.

Now put on your phone

Type 7
Send to 306 if you are in Naija
And 1745 if you are in Ghana!

Have a great day guys! Ciao!

Really? How come I didn't hear about it? How come Clement fans didn't use it and loud it as a campaign material?

Thanks for the information. Project fame had indeed produced beautiful talents.

No he's not the first to be commended.
Clement from season 7 sang Michael Bolton's 'back on my feet' and Michael Bolton sent him a tweet.

Thank you so much. You beat me to that.

Believe me, Mtn PFame will not allow Anderson win d competition. Either Arewa or Jeff will win it, especially Jeff. They are looking 4 a commercial artiste, and Anderson doesn't fit it. MTN is looking 4 an artiste that will go in2 d Nigeria market n do songs Nigerians will like, and thereby promote them. Check from season 1 to 7, how many R n B artiste have they produced? Anderson na oyibo boy, he won't be able to sing d kind of songs Iyanya, Chidinma n others sings. Inasmuch as this is a talent hunt, they can't throw away d business side. This whole Project fame is a business. They scratch ur back, u scratch theirs. Anderson might end up being d 1st runner up. Anyway sha, what do i knw? God knows best.

You are wrong! Iyanya for example who has been their biggest hit was originally and R and B singer. Even his personal composition during the competition was R&B and the first two songs he released after the competition. Most of them switch when they leave project fame and discover that what sells in Naija market is not lyrics but beat. Even though I dont want Anderson to win, if he has the highest vote, there is nothing they will do. If they dont want him to bring, why would they bring him back?
TV/Movies / Re: MTN Project Fame Season 8 Official Thread by dream2014: 11:40pm On Sep 05, 2015
I seriously joined the bring back Anderson last week and afterwards I wrote an Epistle here to support his recall but now I am done. I regret wasting my energy for him!

Back fully to #Ibinu nation and in the alternative Jeff or Arewa!

First and foremost let me say I am glad I saw Anderson back even though I have been more of Dehinde and Chike's supporter.

I see a lot of comments here and I laugh.

1. Anderson is not supposed to be out now cos of his talent. I have reservations about his swags but common, the guy is a gift. Not every body will sing and be popular with "gararara" songs. Boyz 2 men, Cellin Dion, Westlife etc are always cool and collected yet they are superstarts

2. I also see people saying that why didnt people who are agitating vote for him. People agitated cos they saw talent going. Infact most people who could have voted for other people knew that a talent like that shouldnt have gone hence the reason why they joined the agitation.

3. This is show biz. I have never seen an eviction and recall that brought such tears in talent shows in Nigeria. My wife and I had tears on our eyes yesterday when he was evicted and same today when he was recalled. I saw many people that put such comment forward as well. And much more I saw a lady shedding tears live today when watching it. It was a mistake letting him go and the best the could have done for the song at this moment is to bring him back and allow people to revel in this great moment.

4. The judges said they reviewed his performance was the reason they brought him back. It is obvious it is the agitation all over the media. I was telling my wife yesterday that I was really thinking of what to do to get this hard into MTN and the organisers of the competition. Infact a lot of thoughts came through my mind, possibilities of raising funds to launch the guy into music or something. I had to actively joined the hash tag handle and i was amazed at the likes on face book and retweet on twitter. That is the kind of passion that brought out the storm on social media and internet that brought him back yesterday. Some people said what of Biko or Jeniffer, I would say, start your own campaign and if people buy it, they could bring them back.

5. I watch talent shows a lot and I must say that this is not the first time even outside the shores of the country that the judges will use like a veto power to bring a talent back. In some talent shows they always give them one or two slots through out the competition to use wisely. This is to allow them to moderate to a certain extent.

6. Yesterday while reading at night and i decided to check his performance of thinking out loud by El Sheeran and meeen I knew that this guy should still be in the house. His performance for the song compare to El Sheeran's own shows he has got it all within him (I didnt even know they will listen to us and recall him at this point).

7. Even though I am not based in Nigeria, I need to find a way to start voting for the guy!

It is good to have him back and I if the guy is nurtured, then we could see a true star born!

I
homesteady:

I made this comment after watching the clip of Dehinde before his stage performance!
He was talking so razzz and agberoish! He then concluded by talking about 'Bad-Belles'!

Which sensible person at this stage will already be talking about Bad belles? even the likes of them Geoffrey and other past winners who are yet to make it in the industry, will be very careful when talking about bad belles, talkless of this one that has just stayed 2 weeks in the house!

Last week, I tweeted a criticism at Chike and I was shocked when I saw that he 'favorited' it! I'm sure if I do the same to Dehinde, he'll consider me as bad belle and possibly block me!

Nobody asked you not to criticise, even if the person is not on this forum, how could you call someone uncouth animal and you are trying to defend that! Gosh! I have been reading your exchange with that babe and she even said sorry at some point. Bring it down to football, I am a passionate football fan but would never call my opponents animal.

Criticise but mind the language you use, I am sure you won't like it signing up to any portal and see someone calling you "uncouth animal".

Supergal01:
Dehinde has the biggest personality in the house.
Frankly, without him there, the show will be less interesting.

Tejiri seems like a nice girl, but rather immature.
What's the big deal if a guy says he's attracted to you?
Just decline politely and move on.
She might be in the house for a while, but she has little talent to win the money.
Fine face does not equal great performer and singer o.

Apparently, a lot of people commenting are not objective in their analysis
of the house dynamics.

You are so much on point. I wish I can give you 50 likes!

Your preference for bbm as the only means of communication for this transaction makes one curious. Why not via voice call? is it possible u are idle and bored, therefore seeking to forcefully get people to ping u for entertainment?

So pinging kills boredom more than voice call? You must really think every body on Nairaland cant survive without a toy! Anyway, Physical contact will do better than voice call, I will send my house address to you soon.
