I am not @ home to know if the contact your dealer message on the screen has been resolved,I use a qsat q28g and as @ yesterday night, I couldn't view any of the channels.

Guru's in the house i need your help on IS20 on east side. I have tried up to three times with my installer, but we are not getting enough signal quality for the Sony channels to be stable, instead if its not cracking, its showing scramble at 56-58% signal quality. Aljazeera is at 68-70%. My set-up is 1.8m strong pan dish with 4922a strong decoder and 185p patch. Please i love this east side so much and anyone that can help on what to do to increase the signal quality and make this SONY channels stable will be much appreciated and can reach me on 08077790011 or email:ojsegzy@yahoo.com.

Mine (qsat q28g) still displayed: network connection success, connect to server, account expiration date, data is ok and then contact your dealer but no welcome to server. I guess it is from their server/ engineers'. Anyone that has a solution to this, should kindly let us know.

As at this morning nothing is coming up, its not even connecting to server. Please anyone with a more better solution should let us know but for now i think patience is what i can try.

I am using Qsat 28g,It is the same issue @ my end, it happened close to the end of the UCL game between roma and barcelona (80mins). It shows network connection success and connect to server but no welcome to server but shows the account expiration date and contact your dealer. I guess it's from qsat server/engineers'.

Same here....am having the same issue it shows network connection success but fails to connect to server....I can only find "Contact Your dealer" on my screen...i guess its a general problem i hope they resolve it soon

Well, Quite easy, just recharge your sim or subscribe to a data plan because it could be either the sim card has no data plan or air time if it displays network connection success and do not access the server.

I have gotten the audio setting, I changed from stereo to right and now have only english commentary, cool!

@ ManiBk, thanks for the information but what type of decoder are using, because mine has both english and french commentary from the 1st audio option, but when I change to the 2nd audio option, no commentary is heard.

Okay, thanks, I would do that with a generator, I am aware, but I have the latest version with 7.08.70. Please advise if I should downgrade or still use this version.

PLS DO IT WHEN YOU'RE SURE THERE WOULD BE NO POWER FAILURE. PREFERABLY USE GENERATOR OR INVERTER.

Okay, UCL starts tomorrow o. Please help confirm if qsat 28g server is down because I want to watch the match @ the comfort of my home.

Okay, what could be the reason for this because the welcome to server is no more there on the Xcam setup (sharing) option? , there are so many stable channels on it, try using a modern that is supported with a stable network and please how can I resolve the issue my queen (q28g) is having?

Please house, I need assistance on how to setup multiple dishes (IRIB, AMOS and D*TV) on my Qsat 28G because I am having challenges using my disecq switch(4x1) with the above above mentioned decoder but on my strong (4669XII) I have no issues with the disecq switch setup, Please kindly help a brother house.

That's why I like nairaland, different people with different opinions.
Permit me to add my opinion.
I still maintain that people with professional certifications/skills have better chances of securing jobs than those who have M.Sc. in Nigeria of today.There is nothing wrong in going for an M. Sc but it does not make you know engineering better,not in any way .Doing an M Sc does not give you any special skills which you can use to beat ur contemporaries in the labour market. The main reason a lot of Electrical/Electronics Engineering graduates cannot secure jobs is because they have no skill, it is not because they do not have M Sc.
After graduation, some of my colleagues went for a Mechatronics course at IIT,where they were trained on Instrumentation, control and automation. Today those guys are better of,two of them are in oil and gas and the other three are in FMCG earning very fat salaries not because of their degrees alone but because of the additional skills they acquired.
Take it or leave it,an engineering graduate needs one or two skills to succeed in the labour market.
While I was doing my own training I had 3 MSc holders in my class, the question is what are they looking for after bagging their MScs? They came for the training because MSc alone could not solve their problems. Today they are all fixed up thanks to the technical skill they acquired
Please do not be discouraged, look for a training centre and do a training to acquire a skill and u will be better for it
