Yes Streaming is great but streaming alone isn't the only way to determine a hit..
Music channels, YouTube, Radios and DJs combined helps in determining the popularity of a song.
Even Billboard combines all these barometers when deciding their Hot 100..

To a song to be classified a hit it has to be played and popular on radio stations nationwide, DJs, and also massively downloaded or streamed on all platforms...

Laycon's fierce alone has more than double the number of streams of the entire album.
