Career › Reasons Why You Need To Earn In Dollars As A Nigerian Today by Drillmaster01(op): 8:07am On Jul 25, 2022
Good morning everyone,

So I saw an update yesterday that it's now #680 Naira to a Dollar.

Wow!
If you don't know by now, the high inflation rate and the frequent devaluation of the Naira have made the need to earn in Dollars even more urgent!.

Cause the state of our economy is.... TERRIBLE!.

So you see, if you reside in Nigeria, you need to find a means of earning in Dollars.
Or find a way to scale up and learn a high income skill.
One that will help you become a person of value in the labor market.
One that gives you a hedge against inflation rate.

Because I believe earning in Dollars, is a strategy that will help you move from lack to plenty; it will help you avoid poverty.

It's no news that ordinary people like you and I, are living the life they want comfortably in this same country. Just because of the life changing decisions they made.

Here are other reasons why you need to position yourself to earn in Dollars:

1. Higher Value

Imagine you earn a 1,000 Dollars for a service you rendered to a client in the US; this amounts to a whopping #680,000 Naira when converted to Naira.

Although you’ll still feel the impact of the high rate of inflation when you spend this money in Nigeria, it is still a better situation to be in than when you earn and spend in Naira.

And the harsh reality is that only a few employers in the country can even pay their workers #680,000 Naira per month.

2. Stability

The Dollars is a strong currency that hardly loses its value.
Sorry to say but the Naira is an unstable currency; it keeps depreciating due to the unstable economy of the nation.

But when you earn in Dollars as a Nigerian, you can expect the value of your earnings to be worth higher within a short period. This means that if you decide to keep the Dollar amount earned, you’ll have it at a higher amount later in the future when converted to Naira.

The stability in the value of the Dollar and the constant devaluation of the Naira is another reason why you need to position yourself to earn in Dollars.

3. Saving appreciates

When you save in Dollars, the value of the money you save is less likely to depreciate. In fact, it will appreciate.
But when you earn and save in Naira, the value of your money will depreciate with time. Because the Naira is easily affected by market fluctuations. And with the current state of the nation, it looks likely to continue to lose its value.

4. Faster means of building wealth

Earning in dollars as a Nigerian, will help you achieve your financial goals faster.

The state of our economy has left many Nigerian families struggling to survive.
Options on a possible way out are limited for both individuals and families who find it difficult to survive.
So bottom line, every Nigerian looking for a way out or trying to survive should find a means of earning in Dollars.

And thanks to the way the world is today, with freelancing jobs, remote jobs, and unlimited opportunities everywhere.

Earning in Dollars in Nigeria isn't so difficult anymore. You can do that right from the comfort of your home, by applying for jobs or rendering services and get paid in Dollars.

I'll be sharing further posts on different ways you can earn in Dollars from the comfort of your home.

So stick around and Have a blessed day ahead
