Apparently OP has tried answering his own question by himself. So i am wondering what more answer he's looking for.
The title of your thread doesn't seem to me like you're hoping to get an explanation or whatsoever from me.
Good day. |

TheGoodJoe:
Stop living a life full of bigotry. These young men are saving lives everyday, using their lives to keep people safe. Forget about your hatred and be grateful for the lives saved. There's a reason i'm quoting you with a response - which is your irrational usage of the word 'bigot'.
That's how you go misunderstanding peoples' outburst and making shallow judgements.
With all honesty you is the airhead here. I simply made a humorous statement which was meant to depict a truth that's factly. Atleast considering the height of calousness of our so called leaders with the way they go about their executive duties.
It is thesame leaders who go about making foul statements that'll translate to an intention of marginallizing the state. One would wonder how many of this your quoted riposte you've been able to dish out to them eg, when the present head of states made a statement about 95 percent and two percent of people who voted for and against him during a 'democratatic election', or what you'd rather expect from individuals who's a citizen of a country and whose leader is of such a mediocre mindset of favourism and bigotry.
Can you say you're proud of your country so much to die for her?
Left for me i'll never sacrifice anything for a purpose that's not worth it.
Moreso, those young men, the NA, are actually doing a job they signed up for. It's their duty to fight for the common course of civilians and they're being paid for it.
However they go the extra mile to ensure the total extirpation of BH and all forms of terrorism in the country, i appreciate them for that.
My scornfully-jocular post wasn't directed at them neither was it to ridicule their effort and achievements.
Rather it was directed at our so called leaders whose actions and inaction has made our tendencies to patriotism diminish by the day. |

There's no need quoting my earlier post to make boring points.
I respet the army and i'm indeed proud of their efforts to ensuring that there's peace and sanity in the terrorists-ridden state and regions in nigeria.
But hey! I believe i made points very clear with my other post, even though sarcastically. Please desist from quoting me with epistles. |

ethical: No matter what you think of Nigeria, it's our country, our home and the only one at that. Things might not be perfect, but at least we have peace. That is something that people in Syria, South Sudan, Iraq, etc with give anything, yes anything just to experience once again.
And for the young men and women of our armed forces fighting a terrible war on terror so that we can live in comfort, we'll forever be grateful and always remember you in our prayers.
Some of them might pay the utilmate sacrifice, never seeing their families again, others might become physically challenged and even those that came back physically unscathed will never be the same again.
Our leaders might forget these Nigerian heroes, but I and many millions more will never forget them. |

mmsen: Trying to manage a nation the size of Nigeria's from Abuja is foolish.
Decentralization allows for greater innovation, greater accountability and greater progress. The unitary system that Nigeria practices leads to stagnation and regression.
Where is the incentive for some regions to improve themselves when they're constantly waiting on Niger Delta handouts?
Why should states learn to be frugal if the FG will keep gifting them money for nothing in return? Bravo!. |
