Not sure how old this post is, but I wouldn't bother with asphalt or interlocking pavers. Both have their benefits yes, but resin bound driveways are the way forward.

They are hard wearing, you can create multiple different styles and what is great is they are porous. So you don't get puddles of ground water, i.e. if people are playing basketball, they shouldn't slip!

Clearly everyone has their preference, but for me Resin bound driveway installation is the way to go
