The new Pixel is, in Google's words, "the first phone built by Google inside and out" bros and lads THIS PHONE IS MAD! Just like Apple, Google controlled both the hardware and the software - in this case, Android version 7 (nicknamed Nougat). People will say Google copied Apple  . But Action Launcher has had this longer than AppleGoogle might be trying to outdo Apple, but that doesn’t include undercutting it. The Pixel and Pixel XL are priced exactly the same as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The Pixel may bear a striking resemblance to the iPhone, but that’s only because the iPhone bears a resemblance to the HTC One phones that came earlier. But unlike Apple, Google has made a point of keeping the 3.5mm headphone jack on the top of both the Pixel and the Pixel XL. The phone is built from aerospace-grade aluminium and has thin bezels which make for a big screen in a relatively thin 8.5mm body. The Pixel weighs 143g whilst the Pixel XL is slightly heavier at 168g. Like some other Android handsets, Google has placed the fingerprint scanner on the back of the Pixel. That makes it really easy to unlock in your hand because your fingers naturally curl around the handset. The flip side is that if it’s lying flat on a surface and you want to unlock it without picking it up you have to key in your PIN or swipe your pattern.
