Firstly, I think the amount allotted to the state house clinic is really high. But it's important to know the difference between the state house clinic and other hospitals. The state house clinic caters to the president, all the staff attached to the aso villa( which is quite sizeable) (Usually they send laboratory tests and investigations outside, incurring humongous amount of debts, perhaps someone decided to make the statehouse more standard,equipped and self reliant.) and the rest of the executive's family, they also handle medical assistance for an ample amount of citizens- all for free and at no cost.. On the other hand, general hospitals and teaching hospitals, in addition to their allocation in the budget, generate revenue. They charge for everything and only few pay their staff exclusively from their earnings. The question is this' how well managed are the public hospitals? Th state house clinic does not generate a dime in revenue and as such shouldn't have too high a percentage. Of the budget, yet t public hospitals must be more accountable.
