Religion / Is It Good For An Evangelist To Work Or Go Into Full Time Ministry by Drogbi(m): 2:08am On Sep 05, 2015
I just want my fellow nairalanders to please throw more light on my question, a friend of mine quit his job because he said he wants to spread the gospel; is it a good idea or not? Though i made him to understand that he can still be working and evangelism in order not to be a liability on anybody, is it a good idea or bad one?
Health / Low Blood Sugar Is Caused By Too Much Sugar by Drogbi(m): 6:38am On May 18, 2015
Hypoglycaemia is a condition of low blood sugars. Ironically, it is aggravated by consuming too much sugar. Hypoglycaemia is usually caused by an excessive intake of refined carbohydrates and sugar foods. These substances cause the pancreas, the adrenal gland and the liver to lose their ability to handle the sugar properly. Other causes of low blood sugar are a tumour, disturbed functioning of the liver, pituitary gland or adrenal glands. Stress intensifies this condition as it weakens the adrenal glands and starts a faulty pattern of glucose intolerance.
To avoid gout, avoid meat.
Gout was at one time considered the disease of the rich, when in the West only the rich ate meat. The gout patient should avoid all purine and uric acid producing foods such as all meats, eggs, and fish. Glandular meats are especially harmful. The one who has gout should also avoid all intoxicating liquors, tea, coffee, sugar, white flour and its products and all canned and processed foods. Spices and salts should be used as little as possible.
Meditate!
Meditation involves training the mind to remain fixed on a certain external or internal location. All the mental faculties should be directed, without cessation, towards the object of meditation. It can be achieved by constant practice. It will be advisable to meditate on God or Atman as one becomes imbued with the quality of the object on which one meditates. Meditation will help create an amount of balance in the nervous system. This would enable the glands to return to a correct state of hormonal balance and thereby overcome the feeling of depression. Regularity of time, place and practice are very important in meditation. Regularity of practice conditions the mind to slowing down its activities. The most effective times for meditation are early dawn and dusk, when the atmosphere is serene and peaceful.

Family / Where Parents Always Get It Wrong by Drogbi(m): 10:01am On Apr 30, 2015
Good morning nairalanders, i think is high time i unleash some of the common mistakes made by parents and the consequences; most parents does not bother talking to their children when they get to 18+ and that is why majority of our youths are messing around today because charity begins at home. I have created a platform where all parents most especially the mothers to learn unlimited ways of keeping tabs on their children until they get married, you can add me on whatsapp @07056252562 or bbm @32DBC3A5; whatever you refuse to tackle now a time will come when you will regret it.
Sports / Manchester City Can Learn From Chelsea - Clichy by Drogbi(m): 10:04pm On Apr 29, 2015
Gael Clichyadmits thatManchester Citycan learn fromChelsea's ability to win at all costs.
Jose Mourinho's side have been widely criticised for their pragmatic approach this season but are just two wins away from winning the Premier League title following their dour 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the weekend.
City are known for their expansive style of football but sit 10 points behind the Blues, and Clichy concedes that he and his team-mates may need to take note of Chelsea's ability to win ugly if they are to reclaim their Premier League title next season.
"People are saying Jose Mourinho plays defensive football and his team doesn't like to attack," he said. "They've won a lot of games by one goal but at the end of the day you just look at the trophies.
"Sometimes in football you just need to be able to win games, even when you are not playing well.
"This season there have been times when we have lost games instead of maybe settling for a draw whereas Chelsea have made sure that if they don't win their games, they don't lose them either. And that has been the difference this year.
"The two games we played against them I think we played better than them, created more chances and had more possession but on each occasion we shared the points."
Clichy added: "Our philosophy at this club is to play attractive football and score lots of goals but at the same time you have to give credit where it's due and Chelsea have been the best team this season.
"If Chelsea needed five points to win the title and had to draw five games to be champions they would get those five draws and do it. Probably no other team in the league could do that. So they must be doing something right."

That was the prophesy of apostle johnson suleman (phd), for as many people that think his 2015 predictions concerning the presidential election was wrong need to ask God for forgiveness; i will not talk too much but i will like you guys to go through the prophecies again and again. The ceaseless prayer against violence before the election was the reason behind the calmness after the result was announced, if not for the prayers do you think the election would not have been rigged? if not because of God's intervention do you think Jonathan would have conceded defeat just like that? if not because of God do you think even if he accepted defeat the evil ones around him wouldn't have convinced him to do otherwise?

Politics / Wike Worships Money & Can Betray His Mother For Money - Amaechi by Drogbi(m): 3:42pm On Apr 09, 2015
Rivers State Governor, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, has taken a pot shot at the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state, Nyesom Wike, alleging that the PDP flag bearer can betray his biological mother for money.

Amaechi, who disclosed this at a town hall meeting in Port Harcourt on Thursday, described Wike as a thug who was unfit to lead the state, but admitted that it would be the prerogative of the people to decide who they want to emerge as governor.

According to him, “Nyesom Wike loves and worships money; he can betray his mother for money – nothing more, nothing less. It is on to the people of Rivers state to decide who you want to vote for. You want to vote for God, or you want to vote for Satan?”

While claiming that the PDP was afraid to come out for election because the era of re-writing election results was fading, the Governor called on the people to vote rightly and stand on their vote, no matter the circumstances.

His words, “PDP is afraid to come out for an election; they are used to writing results and the era of writing results is coming to an end. How can you see a man like a tout like Nyesom Wike and you will allow him to address you?

“Be assured that no matter how many criminals Nyesom Wike brings out, no matter how many militants he brings out, if we hold our vote and vote rightly, we will defeat him.

“Wike is in a fight for immunity and by God’s grace he will not get immunity because he has to answer for all the death in Omofro. Who killed the people they killed in Omofro? Who killed the two persons in my local government area on Saturday March 28?”

On his agitations for the removal of the Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, in the state, Amaechi expressed optimistic that more INEC personnel would be available to supervise this Saturday’s election.

He called on the people of the state to be careful with the REC, accusing her of helping PDP win the election in Rivers state as “the woman is clear about what she wants to do”.

“Her plan is to deliver PDP; she is not joking about it. She is serious about it. Your own job is not allow her do what you don’t want her to do. I won’t allow her to do that in my village,” he said.

Religion / What Is The Cause Of This Rampant Fornication Among Christains? by Drogbi(m): 3:14pm On Apr 09, 2015
I always asked this question because it beats my imagination and i am confuse, what is cause of the rampant fornication among the christains in Nigeria?
Religion / Facts About Fornication! by Drogbi(m): 3:00pm On Apr 09, 2015
Helo nairalanders, this is something that has been biting me inside and i said to myself that i must let it out today so we can throw more light on it; bible condemned fornication and also highlighted the consequences. At of 100% of our population in Nigeria we all know that 70% or more are christains, from my research out of 100% of our christain youth about 85% commit fornication; is it that they don't know the meaning of fornication or they don't preach about immortality in their various churches?
Sports / RONALDO: I’d Pay My Own Money To Buy MESSI by Drogbi(m): 12:43pm On Apr 05, 2015
The legendary Brazilian would love to self-fund a
transfer for the Barcelona forward to join Fort
Lauderdale Strikers, who he currently plays for
>
Brazil legend Ronaldo claims he would splash his own cash to bring Lionel Messi from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
Messi has lit up La Liga for over decade and, since the turn of the calendar year, has been in fantastic form for Luis Enrique’s side as the Catalans have returned to the summit in the Spanish championship.
Ronaldo, who played for Barcelona and Real Madrid in his prime, recently became part-owner of second-tier US side Fort Lauderdale and revealed his ambition to lure Messi away from Camp Nou using his own money.
“I’d pay out of my own pocket to sign Messi,” he told
reporters at an event to launch the North American
Soccer League (NASL) season, which the FL Strikers will take part in.
Messi is not the only global superstar on Ronaldo’s
wishlist, with the World Cup-winner also hoping his new club can someday convince his namesake Cristiano Ronaldo that the Florida club are worth leaving Real Madrid for.
“The sky is the limit for Strikers. This club will become great,” he added. “Why not Messi? Why not Cristiano Ronaldo? In a few years’ time we will be able to make it happen.
“Nothing is impossible. The US is the second-fastest
growing country in the world in terms of football, after China. A lot of famous players will want to come and play in South Florida because of the quality of life. Who wouldn’t want to live here?”

Good morning nairalanders, this is an issue that has been biting me inside and i said i must share it with my fellow nairalanders; have we ever taken a minute of our time to think about the future of Nigeria? let me use this presidential election as an example. This is the first time i am experiencing an election like this, and this is the same election that was postponed from february 14th to march 28th because of lack of preparation; from what we have seen so far does this election look like a well prepared election with the postponement and others? I am not in support of anybody or any party, my major concern is the future of Nigeria and Nigerians as a whole, how long should we continue to allow these political parties to deceive us with their party manifestos forgetting so soon that our future is in our hands and not in the hands of the so-called government or political parties; our major problem is that we don't think alike and it will take the grace and intervention of God before a proper change can come to this country. This is the same issue our parents refused to address and now they are regretting and paying dearly for it, let's not forget that if we refuse to address these issue our children we still continue to suffer and and smile like we are doing now; my prayer everyday is that God should just format the memory of every Nigerian and make us to think as one irrespective of our tribes. That change will not come until we begin to think and act as one, is high time we wake up from our slumber.

Wenger hails Manchester United victory as psychological boost
The Gunners boss is hoping the win at Old Trafford can help inspire his side to turn around their Champions League tie against Monaco

Arsene WengersaysArsenal’s FA Cup win overManchester Unitedwill give the Gunners a psychological boost as they head towards a crucial run of fixtures.
Goals from Danny Welbeck and Nacho Monreal gave Arsenal a 2-1 win and sends them to a semi-final date at Wembley against either Bradford or Reading.
Ahead of that Arsenal face a testing Champions League second leg against Monaco, having lost 3-1 in the first leg, but Wenger is feeling confident after a rare win at Old Trafford.
“We want to compete in every competition and I believe the result today can give us some good morale for the cup, the Premier League, a very important Champions League game away from home,” he toBBC Sport.
“I think the most important thing is when your team performs at a good level and that is what we did.”
Wenger credited his side’s victory to a brave display and paid tribute to match-winner Welbeck who scored on his first return to his former side.
“[The key was] to start without apprehension that we have been caught a few times here,” he added.
“To be on the front foot, closing down, play at a high pace and I felt we did that well
“He [Welbeck] worked extremely hard today and he was rewarded with a good goal.”
The Arsenal boss was also cautiously optimistic of defending the FA Cup won last year after being drawn against Bradford or Reading.
“Last year we played a tricky game at Wembley in the semi-final. We expect that again,” he said.
“We have played Bradford before we know about that. But let’s enjoy tonight.
“I feel we played a good game tonight, on the front foot from the start and that we deserved to win the game.”

Sports / Rodgers: Liverpool Denied 'clear Penalty' by Drogbi(m): 11:17pm On Mar 08, 2015
Liverpool manager Brendan
Rodgers was left frustrated as
his side were denied a "clear
penalty" during their goalless
draw with Blackburn Rovers.
The Reds boss felt a foul on
Adam Lallana by Rovers
captain Matt Kilgallon warranted a spot-kick, but
referee Andre Marriner instead awarded a corner.
And Rodgers insists that decision had a large bearing
on the game as it allowed to Gary Bowyer's side to
maintain their defensive shape and claim a draw.
"I definitely thought we should have had one [penalty],"
he told reporters.
"I thought that Adam Lallana's in the first half was a
great move. He got his body between the man and the
ball, and when he's gone to shoot he's been knocked
over.
"I thought that was a clear penalty. The other ones are
debatable but we probably needed that bit of luck to
open the game up.
"If we'd scored in the opening 20 minutes then the
spaces might have opened up a bit more."
Liverpool will now travel to Ewood Park for a replay as
they look to book a place in the FA Cup semi-finals at
Wembley, but Rodgers was not too perturbed with the
final outcome.
"To be honest I'm not overly disappointed," he added.
"Of course we want to get through but we kept a clean
sheet against a team who are dangerous, particularly
from set-pieces and long balls into the box.
"In the main we defended it well. We're still there to
reach the semi-final and we want to do it but we'll have
plenty of time to work with the team. It just wasn't to
be."

Sports / Live Update: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Valencia by Drogbi(m): 10:46pm On Mar 08, 2015
81' - Substitution Gabi R. Jiménez (Atlético de
Madrid)
81' - And now for another Atletico change. Jimenez is
on and will go up alongside Mandzukic after replacing
Gabi.
78' - Goal - Shkodran Mustafi (Valencia)
78' - GOAL!!! VALENCIA ARE LEVEL! Disaster for
Atletico! Gaya wins a free-kick out on the left and
Parejo's overhit free-kick crashes against the crossbar
after Moya failed to deal with it, and Mustafi is on hand
to nod in from close range!
77' - This is a good spell for the visitors. They are
pressing for an equaliser, with Atletico forced back into
their own half. They must concentrate for these final
minutes now, otherwise their faltering title bid could
suffer another blow.
75' - A couple of nervous moments for Valencia there,
as Gimenez slices a Piatti cross behind and into the
side-netting, before Godin almost plays his clearance
straight to the Argentinian with Moya out of his goal.
Luckily for the champions, they escape unscathed.
73' - It's all going fairly well for Atletico at the
moment. Valencia are still failing to offer much going
forward, with Moya yet to make a real save, while the
hosts themselves continue to lok threatening.
71' - Yellow Card - Mario Mandzukic (Atlético de
Madrid)
71' - Yet another yellow card. This time it is
Mandzukic, who has barely been on for 10 minutes, as
he gets into bit of a shoving match with Otamendi and
earns a booking.
70' - OFF THE BAR! Atletico should be two up! Koke's
corner is brilliantly headed back into the danger zone
by Godin at the back post and Tiago is on hand two
yards from goal, but he inexplicably hits the crossbar.
What a miss!
69' - Substitution Koke Mario Suárez (Atlético de
Madrid)
69' - Changes for either side now, as Gomes replaces
Perez for Valencia and Mario Suarez takes the place of
Koke.
68' - Substitution Enzo Nicolás Pérez André Gomes
(Valencia)
67' - After a brief delay, Koke takes the free-kick and
drills a low pass in towards the edge of the box. Tiago
steps over it and Arda meets it, seeing his shot blocked.
Gimenez then pounces and goes for goal from long
range, missing the target by some distance.
65' - Fine run by Juanfran, riding two challenges up
the right flank before eventually being hauled down by
the third, leaving Atletico with a free-kick to the right of
the penalty area.
64' - Good idea by Rodrigo, as the substitute cuts in
from the left and drives a cross towards the back post.
It is too high for Negredo and Piatti tries to collect, but
the ball just about goes out of play before he can get it
under control.
62' - And now a first change for Atletico, as Mandzukic
replaces Torres, who has run himself into the ground
today.
61' - Substitution Fernando Torres Mario Mandzukic
(Atlético de Madrid)
61' - Excellent defending by Godin. Piatti raced clear
of Juanfran's attempted tackle and burst into the
Atletico half, making ground down the left, but along
came the Uruguayan centre-back to shepherd him up
the flank and eventually clear the danger.
59' - There is Nuno's first chance. Feghouli has been
poor and unsurprisingly goes off, with Rodrigo on in his
place.
58' - Substitution Sofiane Feghouli Rodrigo
(Valencia)
57' - Yellow Card - Guilherme Siqueira (Atlético de
Madrid)
57' - Alves saves! Koke hoists the free-kick into the
area and the ball is flicked on towards goal by Torres.
Garcia is on hand to try and direct it at the goal, but his
tame effort is easily held by the goalkeeper.
56' - Yellow Card - Nicolás Otamendi (Valencia)
56' - And now Atletico have themselves a free-kick, as
Garcia is adjudged to have been fouled in the air by
Otamendi, who has his name taken by the referee.
55' - The delayed free-kick delivery from Piatti is poor,
though, and while it does beat the wall, it is headed
clear by Arda on the edge of the area. That was a bit of
a waste from the visitors.
54' - Valencia are seemingly seeing more of the ball
now, as Atletico sit back and invite pressure on to
themselves. The visitors win themselves a free-kick on
the right flank, after Parejo is hauled down by Garcia.
52' - Excellent covering from Gabi. Negredo dropped
deep towards the left in his own half to pick up
possession and he squeezed a pass up the line for
Piatti, who tries to jink inside. The Atletico captain is
there, though, sweeping up and clearing the danger.
50' - Yellow Card - Negredo (Valencia)
50' - Another Valencia player goes into the referee's
book, as Negredo struggles in a physical battle with
several opponents and eventually handles the ball. It is
his angry reaction which secures the card.
48' - Valencia are already looking to produce
something of an improvement, as they go on a rare
venture into the final third. Gabi is robbed of the ball
and Piatti tries to get a shot away, though the Atletico
captain wins a free-kick.
46' - Off we go. Valencia get us started for the second
half.
- Atletico 1-0 Valencia: The hosts take a 1-0 lead into
the break and few would argue that isn't a fair reflection
of proceedings so far. The visitors looked bright in the
first 20 minutes, but offered little since. Koke got the
goal which separates the two sides, while Fernando
Torres' tireless running and great work rate have
proven particularly effective for the champions. Nuno's
side have much to improve on.
45' + 2' - HALF-TIME!
45' + 1' - Yellow Card - Enzo Nicolás Pérez (Valencia)
45' + 1' - Out comes the yellow card once again, this
time for Enzo Perez, who crashes into Tiago on the
follow-through. The Argentinan can consider himself a
little unlucky there.
45' - There will be a minute to add on here.
43' - Valencia's final pass really has not been good so
far. On this occasion it is Feghouli who is presented
with the opportunity to cross from the right, but his
delivery is well overhit.
41' - Great hassling from Torres. Godin clears the ball
up field and sees his pass fly beyond Otamendi, who is
forced back towards his own goal. The Argentinian ends
up losing possession to the Atletico forward, though the
eventual cross from Garcia isn't great.
39' - That Otamendi-Garcia duel is starting to heat up.
The two go in to claim a loose ball and the Argentinian
goes down a little easily, before immediately springing
back up and hurling some choice words at his Atletico
counterpart.
37' - Excellent play by Juanfran, as the right-back takes
up possession and charges up the right flank. He holds
off one challenge and then lures in two more
defenders, eventually winning a throw-in by the corner
flag.
35' - That goal has to be good for this match, forcing
Valencia out of their shell. Nuno's men began quite
brightly and were seeing plenty of the ball, though in
the last 15 minutes or so they have been rather quiet.
34' - Yellow Card - Pablo Piatti (Valencia)
33' - Assist - Tiago (Atlético de Madrid)
33' - Goal - Koke (Atlético de Madrid) GOAL!!!
ATLETICO HAVE THE LEAD! The hosts' free-kick is
hoisted into the area and Torres manages to nod it on
into the danger area. Tiago subsequently chests the ball
down towards the edge of the box and Koke is there to
slam home from 18 yards, finding the bottom-right
corner.
33' - Good battling from Koke, as the midfielder steals
the ball back from Valencia, races forward and wins a
free-kick from Fuego. Good play by the Spaniard and
Atletico have themselves another set-piece.
31' - Yellow Card - Shkodran Mustafi (Valencia)
31' - The ref brings the yellow card out on this
occasion, though, as Mustafi cynically blocks off Raul
Garcia when the midfielder was looking to charge into
the Valencia half, and unsurprisingly sees his name
taken.
30' - Gaya is in some pain here. The young full-back
slid in to beat Juanfran to a loose ball but he was
caught late by the Atletico defender. The referee awards
a free-kick, though he keeps his cards in his pocket.
28' - Koke produces a decent delivery from the corner
and Gimenez rises to meet it, but he can't quite reach it
and is ultimately penalised for colliding with Otamendi
in the air.
27' - Atletico do, however, win themselves another
corner, as a cross from the right is deflected behind.
Their set-pieces have not mustered much so far today,
can this one buck the trend?
26' - There is little flow to this match so far, with
neither side really dictating things at the moment. Both
teams are committing a number of fouls, somewhat
disrupting proceedings.
24' - Atletico try to catch Valencia out with the free-
kick, as Koke plays it short for Gabi, who then turns and
crosses towards Torres. Once again, though, Otamendi
is there to nod clear.
23' - The home fans clearly aren't impressed with the
referee on this occasion, as Fuego gives Torres a bit of
a kick on the heel just inside the visitors' half. A free-
kick is awarded, but nothing more.
21' - Excellent corner delivery from Koke, but no one
can get on the end of it and the ball ends up with Gabi
on the left, who brings it under his control. The captain
curls a fine cross into the danger area, though Alves
collects in commanding fashion.
20' - Good defending by Gaya. Atletico are hoisting the
ball into the danger zone quite a lot at the moment and
Otamendi misses it due to a flick-on right in front of
him. Arda pounces and tries to get a shot away from a
tight angle, but the Valencia left-back is there to block.
18' - Torres is causing a nuisance again, this time
barging into Otamendi as the pair contest a long ball
from the back. The players clash again just after and
the Argentinian is caught in the face by his
counterpart's elbow, resulting in a yellow card.
17' - Yellow Card - Fernando Torres (Atlético de
Madrid)
17' - Better from Arda now, following the Turk's
muted start. He skips away from the tackle of Gaya and
crosses left-footed from the right. Otamendi heads it
away ahead of Torres, but the hosts remain on the front
foot.
15' - That's easy for Diego Alves, as the Valencia
goalkeeper plucks the ball out of the air with ease. He
then releases it quickly, eyeing a counter-attack. Parejo
then brings it forward, but the move ends swiftly when
the midfielder tries to release Piatti beyond the
defence.
14' - Atletico have been excellent from set-pieces this
season and they now have themselves an opportunity
from a corner, as Torres' delivery is knocked behind.
Gabi comes across ready to fire into the danger zone.
13' - Good defending there by Godin. Valencia try to
exploit the pace of Feghouli down the right, with the
Algerian released behind Siqueira. Nevertheless, the
Uruguayan centre-back comes across and shepherds
the ball out of play.
11' - Valencia are really knocking the ball around well
now. Perez drops deep and links with the two centre-
backs, before then inviting Barragan forward from
right-back. He in turn finds Feghouli, who loses his man
and prods a pass towards the edge of the area for
Parejo, but his first-time effort in towards Negredo is
cut out by Gimenez.
9' - Valencia do appear to have settled into this match
now. Atletico's frantic start looked to be making them
uncomfortable, though they are starting to see a little
more of the ball themselves. There's no reason why
they shouldn't be confident.
7' - More pressure from the hosts now, with Atletico
attempting to exploit their visitors down the left.
Siqueira charges forward and manages to squeeze a
cross in towards Torres, though it is slightly overhit and
Valencia clear.
5' - Audacious effort from Negredo there! Piatti, who
has really hit form recently, attacks Atletico down the
left, jinking this way and that to lose Juanfran, before
crossing to the back post. The Spain international
striker meets it with a scissor-kick, but it is blocked well
by a defender.
4' - Lively start from the hosts so far. They are first to
every ball at the moment, pressing high and with great
intensity. Again Atletico rob Valencia of possession in
the final third and Arda tries his luck from the edge of
the area, though his effort is dragged horribly wide and
it ends up going out for a throw-in.
3' - There is the first look of the Otamendi-Torres
duel. The Spanish forward looks to race on to an
advanced pass played in behind the centre-back, but
the Valencia man wins a free-kick after going down very
easily.
1' - Off we go! Atletico get us underway at the Vicente
Calderon.
- The players are now out on the pitch as kick-off
approaches. This should be feisty!
- Valencia, despite their recent form, will of course be
seen as slight outsiders today. They have not won any
of their last five matches at Atletico, with the champions
going out with something of a point to prove. Today's
visitors are able to name Nicolas Otamendi in their
starting XI after being doubtful and Nuno will
undoubtedly be happy about that, with Torres starting
on the back of a very lively and encouraging cameo
against Sevilla last time out.
- Valencia, on the other hand, come into the match
full of confidence. Nuno's men have won four on the
bounce in La Liga, a run which had seen them stretch
seven points clear of Sevilla in the race for the final
Champions League place. A 4-3 victory over Deportivo
La Coruna yesterday saw Unai Emery's men shorten
that to four points, but a win in Madrid today can
restore that lead and, more importantly, see Valencia
move above Diego Simeone's side and up to third, with
a late title bid not out of the question.
- Atletico welcome Valencia to Madrid in a somewhat
indifferent mood. The champions have won just one of
their last four games in all competitions, with defeats to
Bayer Leverkusen and Celta Vigo followed closely by a
0-0 draw at Sevilla last week, a result they were rather
fortunate to secure. On top of that, they are without
star man Antoine Griezmann due to suspension, while
Miranda and Saul also miss out, and Mario Mandzukic
settles for a place on the bench once again. However,
Koke is welcomed back to the starting XI after
overcoming his fitness problems.
- Valencia subs: Yoel, Joao Cancelo, Felipe Augusto,
Orban, Rodrigo, De Paul, Andre Gomes.
- Valencia starting XI (4-3-3): Diego Alves; Barragan,
Otamendi, Mustafi, Gaya; Fuego, Parejo, Perez;
Feghouli, Negredo, Piatti.
- Atletico substitutes: Oblak, Hernandez, Mario
Suarez, Jesus Gamez, Jimenez, Mandzukic.
- Atletico Madrid starting XI (4-2-3-1): Moya; Juanfran,
Godin, Gimenez, Siqueira; Tiago, Gabi; Arda Turan, Raul
Garcia, Koke; Torres.
