Game on Thinkinitegrin

1.The last two letters of my first name are the 3rd and 5th letters of an edible gel-like substance, that can be spread on bread

2.The First two letters of my first name are the first two letters for the name of a major car manufacturer who had to recall within the last 5years, a particular model of their cars due to faulty braking system.

If you get it... Then maybe I'll just give you a very simple one liner clue to my surname grin

When I'm I resuming Thinkin?

I'm hoping to do something within the Christmas week...and I'm going to make it verrrrrrrry tough... But fun too... Yeah there's gonna be prizes.. I'm hoping to be able to do recharge card prizes grin

Fingers crossed grin
Tony.

Ohh please.. Ignatius??

Come on you can do better

This one is not "Think-in" oo grin

It's neither Edward nor Ignatius

Or should I frame it as a Think-in for you?

Maybe you'll get it grin
Then it's Henry. Oya now. Frame it as think in. By the way, when are you starting again? With prizes?

You're pretty close

I have a verrrrrrry English name grin

Infact my first and surname are both English names gringrin

If you're familiar with ancient kings of England juxtaposed with some Saints of the early roman Catholic Church... gringrin... That's enough clue
Edward Ignatius?

i was thinking the every account opening form has a checklist column.
so it is expected while ticking the checklist, missing documents shld have been noted.
However, i suggest u go find out what was missing and make it available .
But let me tell u this for free without mincing word, your name and ur stanbic account number is WITH YOUWIN cos the last time i checked it was only stanbic bank and some few others that are ready for payment.
Hi. Do you know if Diamond bank has sent the list for south west? Thanks.

So while having breakfast; bread, tea and scrambled eggs... , you know I could have just said "eggs" without adding the scrambled but hey,.. tongue. Anyways, I realized I was about to skip the first loaf of bread and it got me wondering and asking myself why do people skip the first loaf of bread...

Do you skip the first loaf of bread?

If you do.. Why do you skip it

If you don't... What's your reason
First loaf or first slice?

If first slice ; because the crust tends to be harder.

1one. I have the answer.
Forum GamesRe: THINK-IN. by drollster(m):
AdeniyiA: this 1one na bad guy, i just discovered that the answer is in the question shocked
i declare boldly and without any iota of doubt that ...
BOURGEOIS is the right answer.
...
1One. this is why I was talking about k-leg. thought I was wrong, but AdeniyiA is right. Give him the prize for this one. Lets break it down.

2nd and 3rd letters of the african country capital? ( Will come back to this)
Synonym of rebound? Ricochet.
First letter of a former African secretary general? 2 possibilities : Boutros Boutros Ghali or Kofi Annan. Answer is Boutros.
6th, 7th, 8th letters of the french word for the middle class? Bourgeois grin
if the 5th and 9th letters are added to the a word that means to err ( sin), it gives a verb form to a unique type of idol = sings.

So we have B??RGEOIS.

Back to the first clue, the way it is stated , it will be BUARGEOIS. This is wrong. There is no 9 letter word in the english language that starts with BUA, I stand to be corrected. So manipulating the clues a bit, and restating the first one, it should read THE FIRST AND SECOND LETTERS ARE THE SAME AS THE FIRST AND SECOND LETTERS of the capital of an African country pronounced with the W sound. Giving OU.

And the answer will be BOURGEOIS.

Sorry for jumping all over, but that's why I mentioned the k leg thing. I believe AdeniyiA is correct.
Advance apologies for breaking your rules, but I need to be able to sleep and stop dreaming about this unanswered question. angry huh embarassed

...should be Ouagadougou? huh

Could you kindly come up so we can ask you some questions... The audience is really excited... to meet yougrin

1.How many minutes did it take you to unravel the puzzle...

2.Did you receive help from anyone?

3.Did you get the answer for each clue or did you get some answers, then just guessed the remain letters and came back to see if the clues agreed with your guesses

4.Did you surf the net for any of the clues... If yes.. Which one.
Surfed the net for the simplest one funny enough. my brain was a bit rusty initially. knew the others. About three minutes. Nobody helped me.
