Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes his side “can go all the way” in the Champions League after drawing Barcelona in the quarter-final.

The draw sees caretaker boss Solskjaer return to the Nou Camp 20 years on from scoring an injury-time winner there in the 1999 Champions League final.

United would meet Liverpool in the semi-finals should both sides progress.

“I think we’ve shown against Paris St-Germain that on any given day we can beat a top team,” said Solskjaer.

“Any team can beat anyone of the eight. There’s still top, top quality. Of course, with Cristiano [Ronaldo] still in it I don’t think it’s opened up that much.”

Solskjaer’s side became the first team to overcome a 2-0 or greater home first-leg deficit in the Champions League as they defeated PSG 3-1 to progress from the last 16.

The away-goal victory was sealed by Marcus Rashford’s injury-time penalty, which was awarded by the video assistant referee (VAR) following an anxious wait.

“There are so many variables and these games will be decided by margins. Of course that VAR, even though for me it’s a penalty, you can still be unlucky and not get it in the last minute and then we’d be out and no one would really remember the PSG performance.

“I believe that you get what you deserve in life, in sports. If you put the work in, if you work hard, show the right attitude, if you go in every single day and do the right things you can maximise your chances.

“So yes, we can go all the way but you’ve got to be lucky and good along the way.”

A 2013 President Barack Obama Fellow, Omololu Omotosho, has taken to social media to share his thoughts on the ongoing feud between former partners, Iyanya and Ubi Franklin.

Omololu stated that Iyanya’s illiteracy when it comes to the legal and business part of music cost him a lot.

In his words;
‘I watched both interviews that Iyanya and Ubi Franklin granted the media where they both made assertions against one another. My take is that Ubi Franklin, who has a legal background, cheated Iyanya. Iyanya’s illiteracy in the legal and business side cost him some money.’


During the interview that Ubi Franklin granted, Ubi Franklin asserted multiple times that Iyanya suggested he wanted nothing to do with the “busness side” of music but the same Ubi Franklin decisively suggested that Iyanya was hungry for financial success when they both decided to work together.

This is the most ridiculous contradiction I have heard from a lawyer and businessman. Ubi Franklin had to be forced to attach Iyanya’s name to the legal documents of Made Men Music Group because of a loan they sought: This means Ubi Franklin was in no way bothered about a legally binding document that made sure Iyanya was properly compensated for his talent and music.

Why will an upcoming artist say he wanted nothing to do with the “business side?” Everyone knows upcoming artists want financial success — the “business side” is how artistes get paid so even if Iyanya stated that to Ubi Franklin at the beginning of their partnership, Iyanya was obviously ignorant of the legal consequences of his words.

Furthermore, Ubi Franklin stated during the interview, that proceeds to Made Men Music Group would be split 50/50 between Iyanya and Ubi Franklin. How do you refuse to give Iyanya his 50 percent because you asserted that Iyanya said he “wanted nothing to do with Tekno?” A legally binding document has nothing to do with verbal discussions except the document has been legally modified.

So regardless of the assetion regarding what Iyanya said, he should have been paid his 50 percent coming from the proceeds of Tekno’s work. Paulo, another busniessman, supposedly had to convince Ubi Franklin to begin the payment of Iyanya’s 50 percent off Tekno’s work. With all these drama, the conclusion is that — money is important. Education is also important.”

TERROR killer Brenton Tarrant worked with children as a fitness coach before spending two years plotting his mosque massacre, it has emerged.

The white supremacist, 28, wrote a 74-page manifesto of hate in which he described himself as “just a regular man from a regular family”.


He listed Norwegian far-fight mass murderer Anders Breivik and Finsbury Park mosque attacker Darren Osborne as influences.

In the document entitled The Great Replacement he also claimed that white Europeans were “failing to reproduce”.

He also visited North Korea and was snapped there with a group at the Samjiyon Grand Monument.

The twisted killer posted relentlessly on a right-wing web forum where users do not need to log in and can remain anonymous.


In trolling comments aimed at gamers, he claimed children’s character Spyro the Dragon “taught me ethno-nationalism”.

And in reference to the dance craze, he said hit game Fortnite “trained me to be a killer and floss on the corpses of my enemies”.

Tarrant told fellow forum users of his intentions to carry out the attack and boasted that he would stream it live on Facebook.

He added: “You are all top blokes and the best bunch of cobbers a man could ask for.

“If I don’t survive the attack, goodbye and God bless.”

Others on the forum hailed him a hero as his massacre was streamed on Facebook yesterday.

In one startling passage from his manifesto, Tarrant compares himself to Nelson Mandela.

He said: “I do not just expect to be released [from prison], but I also expect an eventual Nobel Peace Prize.

“I expect to be freed in 27 years from my incarceration, the same number of years as Mandela, for the same crime.”

An Iranian couple have been arrested after a marriage proposal in public, on Friday, in Arak

The police say the pair offended Islamic mores on public decency but were later released on bail.

Mostafa Norouzi, deputy police chief in Arak, told the Shahrvand daily that it is unacceptable for the young "to do whatever is common in other places of the world and disregard mores, culture and religion" in Iran.

The pair's "offense is very clear and there is no need for explanation" about the reason for their arrest, Norouzi added.

Also, Fars news agency called the public proposal "shameful" and claimed it could promote "immorality." The agency demanded "harsh" punishment to stop such displays from being repeated by others.

Iranian hard-liners perceive public displays of affection as result of allegedly corrupt influence of Western culture that threatens morals in this conservative Islamic society. The Islamic Republic's strict rules forbid gender mixing in public.

R Kelly has again found himself reeling in fresh heat after a lawyer who once defended him during a decade-old child pornography case revealed the singer is actually guilty.

According to the lawyer,Ed Genson, the singer was found guilty of those charges, adding Kelly was also placed on anti-libido drugs to curb his urges.

Ed Genson, 77, speaking with the Chicago Sun-Times said;


“He was guilty as hell!.” He added that he, however, believes the “Trapped in the Closet” crooner has not done anything “inappropriate” in years.

“I’ll tell you a secret. I had him go to a doctor to get shots, libido-killing shots. That’s why he didn’t get arrested for anything else” he said. Genson, who has terminal bile duct cancer, told the paper he doesn’t feel ambivalent about getting Kelly acquitted and keeping him out of prison in 2008.

“I didn’t facilitate him. He had already done what he’d done. I did facilitate him in the sense I kept him out of trouble for 10 years. I was vetting his records. I listened to them, which ones would make a judge mad” Genson said.

Genson went on saying Kelly’s 2003’s “Ignition” record made him believe the singer might actually be into underage girls, he said. “I was riding in the car, listening to a song and said, ‘Are you crazy? This is all I need,’” Genson recalled. “It’s a song related to a guy driving around in a car with his girlfriend. It was originally a high school instructor in a class teaching people how to drive a car. I changed the words,” he said.

Genson also said the star is “not a very bright person.”

“What he doesn’t understand is this: If you win a case with somebody, they think they’re bulletproof. You’re almost better off, sort of, losing. He thinks he can do whatever the hell he wants. He has done everything he can to hurt himself” Genson said.

R Kelly is facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse, including against minors; allegations that he denies.
