This is what USA understood, if not it will cost them nothing level down the whole of Iran within few minutes. The US-ISREAL force have been precise in their targets, this alone is enough reason for the islamic Republic to give up the authocratic regime

Not true, Fela is a true Egba man to the core, won't attack a younger Fellow to him like Tinubu, or elders like Awolowo, akintola (even when they have their flaws) unless they are president like Shagari ...he would rather stir up the youth to do do d needful and take their destiny in their hands
He only attack his age bracket especially those in power, class mates and fellow Egbas like OBJ and MKO as they are all alumni of BBHS Abeokuta
Thanks for the clarification, I learned something new entirely from you

That's what Tinubu is known for. All that he destructively criticize GEJ for, he is doing. If not for Amnesia, I wonder why it is difficult for supporter of APC to realize the propaganda and soundly reject the party
PoliticsRe: Opposition Reps Shout ‘APC Ole’, Walk Out Of Plenary Over Electoral Act by DSS1335:
Dear Oga Helinues, tell your Party that Nigeria is overripe for electronic voting. Even if they won't approve of it, let them please make electronic transmission of results from the pooling unit mandatory, this isn't too much to ask for. What kind of backward country is this?

Bosman17:
How can Nigeria be ripe for mandatory transmission ONLY, when it’s not like that in countries with better infrastructure… stop being dumb!
Well, sorry to burst your bubble, if poorer African countries like Namibia and C.A.R have successfully implemented electronic voting. India did same despite their billions population number. Why can't the giant of Africa do same?

In Nigeria, if private entities like the saveAlife group could afford to integrate the use of device like a smart multi parameter monitor in their health care outlet, that send diagnostic results in real time to Doctors any where in the world. You are more dumber to think we can't replicate same in INEC.

Each device cost approximately 600k.

If the manufacturer in Germany/USA could be sourced to produce similar custom-products for INEC just as they are used in USA election, then with approximately, N120Billions, we would have about 200,000 units of this device ready available for poll in each of 187,000 polling units in Nigeria.

INEC budget for 2027 election is over 800Billions.
Take out 200b for logistics purpose, we would have more money in excess of 400B freed to solve other important issues in the country...this is my preliminary opinions, I stand to be corrected though. I don't know why APC apologist are averse to progressive ideologies. You can't support APC without sounding stupid!

Baba I was a member of APC from Amaechi's nPDP. But after the first term of Buhari, I wrote APC off after realizing they influenced the likes of me via heavy propaganda. Perhaps, it would have been an entirely different outcome if Tinubu was there in place of Buhari. The Tinubu I knew in 2000 is different from this inept version

Fela, the Afrobeat creator, was a bone in the necks of various governments and administrations, especially the military juntas. With his songs, he drove his criticisms down the spine of the various heads of state in Nigeria. For his activism, he was arrested multiple times and sent to jail many times too, mostly on trumped-up charges.
Respect to the legend Fela. Imagine he was alive when Tinubu was campaigning to be president, he would joined force with the likes of the respected thespian, Pa Adebanjo to resist him. He was a true Omooluabi in the order of Awo. Not the fake ones we are seeing romancing with all sorts of crooks politicians

In many ways sir. My salary as a level 13 officer can't take of my family need today. When I was in level 08 during GEJ, we never lacked. Was earning below 80k but still comfortable because my side business was doing well, we weren't facing this gross epidemic power outage, even when power goes off, less than N800 can buy 10L of fuel to keep our Frozen business afloat. Despite being a senior officer earning higher, I am poorer than when my salary was at level 08. I spent a minimum of 7k daily on fueling generator, or do u want me to talk about medicine for aged parents battling with HBP and diabetes 😭. And what about those for children? Try to understand our plight as Nigerian, we got no other country to salvage except this. Nothing is getting better in this country

Those improvements highlighted by you is of non-consequences to the common man struggling to feed and take care of his responsibilities. The most important responsibility of any government is in the security of lives and property, and any government whose policies aren't crippling insecurities shouldn't have business being in government. Tinubu administration has failed Nigerian, maybe it is when you become a victims of this security lapses you will understand the anguish of those people.

Secondly why are we still grappling with epileptic or no power supply in my areas in PH since last year December..the consequences of this maladministration has a rippled negative effects in every facet of lives.

I don't want to talk about earthshaking corruption going on rampantly because there is no iota of seriousness in fighting that monster except that it is now used as a tool against perceived political opponents.

Well, thos two yardstick are the basic indicator to showcase the gross failure of this administration and reasons why every patriotic Nigerian must never support the reelection of the inept

*RENEWED HOPE YOUTHS AND STUDENTS COMMENCES FREE RIDE SCHEME AT RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY, TARGETS ALL TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS*
***********
The RHYS remains committed to the Leadership of Chief (Dr) *Nyesom Ezenwo Wike,* CON, GSSRS, POS Africa, Life Bencher.

Signed:
*RHYS Secretariat*

11th day of February, 2026
While any effort to reduce the cost of living for students is helpful, the Renewed Hope Youths and Students (RHYS) "Free Ride Scheme" raises significant questions about its long-term intent and the political ethics of using campuses as battlegrounds for state supremacy.
A constructive critique of the scheme must look past the immediate benefit of a "free ride" to examine the deeper implications for Rivers State students.
The initiative’s branding leans heavily on the "Renewed Hope" mantra, yet its primary inspiration, Chief Nyesom Wike, has a controversial track record regarding student welfare.

While the previous administration was celebrated for physical projects, the disbandment of the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) remains a significant blow to the state’s intellectual future. It is difficult to reconcile a "student-centered" initiative with a leadership legacy that terminated overseas scholarships for thousands of deserving Rivers indigenes. A temporary bus ride does not replace the permanent loss of global educational opportunities

Please Doctors, kindly come to my aid.

WHAT HAPPENED

I don't know if it's called Earpod, Earbud or Airpod, but it's all earpiece.
So I bought a Bluetooth one, downloaded Spotify playlist app on my phone's playstore and began listening to jamz 24/7 except when I'm bathing. Even at work, I use it.

I wasn't used to using accessories like this.

So, I noticed a pain inside my right ear, later it became a boyl. I felt the pains, took Bicham ampiclox and after a few days, it disappeared.

Now I can't hear with that ear any longer. I can only partially hear with it.

HOW AM I FEELING ?

In the ear, I feel like there's a blockage which is impeding sound. I feel like there's water in there. You know how it is when you're bathing and water enters into your ear? That's how the feeling is, right now. If I'm talking to someone, I feel there is an earpiece hanging in my ear, so I need to speak louder than normal. This is the Third day.
I am worried.

We need more awareness about the danger of prolonged use of earphones 🎧...

sorry op, your case should trigger the needed awareness.
Your inner hair cells has probably been desensitized by prolonged exposure to sounds. . You are likely to suffer from noise-induce hearing loss which is often irreversible. Go and visit an ENT specialist at any teaching hospital for proper diagnosis and management plans. Thank you

Rubbish man, this guy wasted over 3 years without any meaningful project. God forbid for Rivers people to have this kind of person as our governor again. He cares more about politics than governance.

His only goal as a governor is bringing Wike down politically. And the most annoying thing is that he's not trying to beat Wike by doing more projects for Rivers people that Wike.
I can't hear your lamentations well !Pls cry me River.
Fubara is the best thing to happen to Rivers state after Amaechi, the testimonies are everywhere.
When wike was there for 8 years, the assembly approved the proposed appropriation that will cover Recruitment, promotion and consequential salary increases for R/S public servants, yet nothing was done. In fact this became an annual habit. Where did the money go to? One day, EFCC will beam their search light on all the reckless financial dealings under wike and the public would stone him

You guys have personal vendetta against Obi candidature that is why you all sees everything he does from negative perspective. Obi is the realest leader out there who reasons from the common man angles.
There is difference between the military and police check points. He is calling out that of police. In Rivers state, the police check points littered across the major routes have not translated to improved security rather what we have is a makeshift tollgate where they extorts from motorist. They are not doing their job
