Patience sir, I don't know how you buy stocks but this is what I do.
I look for a good growth stock at 10-20$ and buy 50-100 depending on my power,when it grows 70-100% I take profit and watch to know if I should sell all or leave as a long.

for example MARA grew 139% this last week,from 11% on monday it closed at 26% on Friday,imagine you bought 100 units you would have made 15%*100=1500$ in one week from one stock which is not BAD.


before buying a stock I research the company and watch dozens of YouTube video to hear what stock market analysts have to say.

have a working strategy and lots of Patience.

Century Link is a communications company that was heavily neglected during the rallies of 2020 due to their decision to slash dividends due to decreasing revenues and their desire to pay debts.

It is currently trading at 75% lower than its historical P/S ratio which makes it a sure candidate to rebound this year when you consider they have enough free cash flows with an impressive dividend yield of 10%.

I have watched it slowly crawled beyond $9 to $10.50 today.

I have taken position today.

I doubt if you read my original post before your generalized response. I don't mean to come off as being showy, but here's a little hint on who you're giving investment recommendations.

1. I have been funding my Gtbank account from here since 2012; reasons being that I plan to move back home in the future, and also that I don't like leaving all my $$ here in Canada. I am only a visitor in Canada...it's not my home.

2. I never said I was changing $$ to naira, I already have a naira account with millions idling there, and since I have no use for the money, I plan on using a reliable platform to convert the naira to $ to invest in foreign securities and hold for 10-20years.

3. Currently, I have a well diversified portfolio of more than $245k here in Canada with Wealthsimple and Questrade, I am also a proud owner of 7 bitcoins, 50 Litcoins and 25 Ethereum; which I purchased back in 2015(my scariest investment ever!). If I leave my first and last name, a lot of people would recognize me. You can call this a show off, but I am simply reminding people like you to read to understand rather than wallow in hasten generalization!

My GTBank was opened as a non resident account, but my mom's address in Lagos was added on file. The reason I don't feel comfortable using my mom's address to register on any of these apps is to avoid any complication in the foreseeable future. For instance, If I'm required to send my driver's license or utility bill doc, it has to match my address of residence-- I don't have any Nigerian Identification doc.---I reside in Canada with my wife and kids
