I HV read through many comments on this and this is my sincere contribution. your brother should ask himself has he ever lied to someone? who crucified him for dat? I am not justifying the girls action but I am looking at the fact that all humans HV fault. if the lady has been a chronic liar then that should HV been a different case, but if it is for this one lie that I think she committed becos she cant face the shame to see your brother disappointed, then it doesn't worth calling off the wedding. the bible says that love covers a multitude of sin. if your brother truly loves her he will over look this except if there are many other indecent behaviour she exhibits that your brother is not telling us..

pls you should both see ur pastor for counselling. but I want to add that u should hv noticed these his characters during ur courtship.

pls b4 we criticise to the death, its important we read BTW the lines and put ourselves in same shoes. The doctor tried his best and he is competent from his actions I can tell even though I am not in the medical line. he understood he was dealing with a critical situation and human life that's why he consulted his Senior colleagues to be double sure. some other doctors may out of pride and i-too-know handle such situation alone and make a big mess of it. in multitude of counsellors there is safety. seeking advice from senior colleagues with more experience and expertise is a sign of strength and not incompetence.
Moreover the doctor wrote this article so he could get a better explanation of what happened. so I think we should do just that.
