A friend of mine made a mistake while registering. She filled the name of the secondary school she finished from instead of the one that bears her SSCE result. What's d implication & wat can she do pls? |
God help us in this country. Waiting to hear the doctors' side of the story. RIP ma'am |
I'm a 2016 batch A PCM. After being deployed to a state, how feasible is my redeployment to my state of origin? |

OlaSalo:Is it dat u can't understand my English? Cos I neva said Easter Monday is not 28th. Read my post very well b4 quoting me pls. |
DTOBS:Just thought of it too dis morning. But I still doubt if camp can open earlier than March 30th cos 25th, 27th & 28th are Good Friday, Easter Sunday & Easter Monday respectively.... Except if NYSC wants us to be in camp during that festive period. I also want to believe that the easter celebration was part of the reasons for the postponement in the first place. |
;DRefresh the timetable page. Online reg now ends Feb 28th as against March 12th. This NYSC lasan Confusion ti take over. Back to back |
sydneyboss:Siddon dia dey look.... was it not call up number they used b4 nw? |
#PortalYetToOpen....But I'm sure Lagos, Abuja & Ogun would av bin av filled up by nw. #NaijaFactor. Like if u understand |
#Yawns....#Stretches #EntersNairaland. Some niggas be staring at & refreshing NYSC portal since 12am but that's none of my business #ReturnsToBed |
This is a Major Breakthrough in thought that will
change your choice of state selection for NYSC.
All PCM are concerned of which order to pick
their most preferred state for it to be given. Well I
have figured out how states are given to Corps
Members.
First of all No NYSC human official will look at
your registration, It is Automated by their system.
So it does not matter where you live, the number
of states you chose as visited. When Corps
Members are being posted the machine
automatically selects the PCM choice of state
randomly in successive order. It will pick the first
choice of the first applicant, then the second
choice of the next, then the third choice of the
next, the back again to the first choice.
In the case when PCM are given state outside of
their three choice of state this is what happened,
For example Femi chose Abuja, Lagos, Enugu
then the machine selection fell to Lagos and at
that point Lagos is already filled up, the machine
will automatically choose another Western state
i.e Oyo for that applicant. If it fell at Abuja for
example and it’s already filled it will automatically
choose another North Central State i.e Niger etc.
It is not about the first to register, the machine
do rank PCM registration in Batches for example:
The first 5000 members to register might
complete the first batch (am not sure on the
number though). After each batch the machine
will distribute PCM’s randomly (as I have stated
above). Let say for example Lagos Corpers are
2000, and out of the 2000, 700 are already filled
up by runs, leaving just 1,300 spaces and
hypothetically 4000 out of the 5000 chose lagos,
and hypothetically the machine selected 2200
PCM to lagos only the first 1300 will be given
lagos and the rest 900 will be given other states
(as I explained above), then immediately Lagos
will be taken off the selected state in the NYSC
portal.
It does not matter if you register by 12am on the
8th or you register the next day if you are within
the first batch (might well be more that 5k or
might be way lesser) It will then be selected
randomly probably the last person to fill up the
batch will be first.
Back to the posting hypothetically if the machine
fell on your choice lagos and it happened to be
full it will move on to another western state i.e
Ogun if it again happens to be full it will
randomly post you to any state in any geo-
political zone i.e North Central Benue.
So what you fill in the form does not in any way
determine where you will be posted, you can
choose any state as long as it’s in the portal.
You have an equal chance to be posted to Abuja
as Ekiti. #Copied |

During the online registration, do u think NYSC ask for states you av visited b4 simply cos they would nt want the system to post u to dos state or cos they actually want the system to post u to one of dos states u are familiar with? Let's deliberate on this pls. |

I'm a PCM from OAU, Ife (2016 batch A). Studied Metallurgical & Materials Engineering (Second class upper division). I'm of Lagos origin. I'm planning on choosing Ogun, Delta & Kogi in that order. Basically, I don't really wish to go far & I want a state where I can get a good PPA. Pls can those that are serving/served in those states above kindly share their experience with me and probably advise me in relation to this. Thanks in anticipation. |

CPI(s) - Corps Producing Institution(s) 4. ZI - Zonal Inspector 5. CLO - Corpers Liaison Officer 6. DG - Director General 7. OBS - Orientation Broadcasting Service 8. SAED-Skill Acquisition Entrepreneurship Development. 9. LGI - Local Govt Inspector 10. PPA - Place of Primary Assignment 11. CDS - Community Development Service 12. POP - Passing Out Parade Compiled by Dudecollins (PCM from OAU,Ife) |

Mymain:Exactly my style, fast, slow, furious, steady, fast, steady, furious, slow....till da peak (x) |
Kennedybello:As at 2014, I knw there were 2 streams for batch C 2014. So, the fact that there will b 3 batches next year doesn't mean there will b only one stream for each batch. All the same, like u said, let's wait & see |
