But yeah combining more than one band seems to be the best way to go.

Also I noticed my ODU doesn't get registered on the network after restart when locked to just B7. That's the main reason I looked to aggregate more bands while prioritizing B7. I suspect B7 is majorly used for high speed data transfer and struggles with mundane tasks like network user authentication.

However, it's still the fastest, especially EARFCN 3256 compared with EARFCN 3400. When I lock to Band B7 alone, it defaults to 3400 which is 10MHz, slower than B7 3256's 20MHz. Another reason I had to go deeper into the locking 🤣

Remember because all the advice you getting are from people that use mac does not mean it's good advice. Either you do your own research keeping in mind the nature of your work + what you are willing to sacrifice with either of the two or you hear from people that use premium windows PCs too.

I've been using and still using Glo. the network is great for phones calls, I prefer it to Airtel but data services, once day breaks the network breaks. It may be location dependent and you could be lucky

Register for the my airtel with your regular Airtel line if you have and then opt to subscribe another line. This is what I do

I did my best to buy with the Airtel smartcash but it didn't work. There's no option for 25k for 50mpbs

Have you tried it from the my Airtel app instead? Then select smartcash as mode of payment from within the my airtel app

This morning I saw the airtel 5g icon on my phone today. Mind you I am on mtn 1 year plan. My router and phone are 5g but mtn 4g network is what showing. Sometimes the network is very slow and some other time it's super fast.

When I saw the 5g airtel signal I quickly subscribe to airtel just to test and feel the speed. But I was disappointed.

Remove the power cable, then the sim card and power it again. Login to this same portal and see if you're going to see wired or cable broadband mode, or something similar.

It does work at my end but there is no need for that because, my X25 pro has a better speed and stability that the Airtel ODU.
