Well, it is the pro version. I have encountered problems with X25 that are not present in X25 pro. While I have not explored X17M yet, I believe the pro version would be better.

In the future when we would probably have reasons to explore these ODUs, the pro version will be handy.

Videos has never buffered since I got this ODU. I stream on 1080p.

Honestly, YouTube videos immediately loads the 4k resolution for me

Is there anything I can do to increase my browsing speed, everyday from 5pm-9pm (sometimes more longer than this), this is the speed I get. I did SIM swap of my Airtel ODU number to physical sim and put it in X25 5G ROUTER. The ODU is a no for me because once light goes off, the router becomes useless.

Please what phone are you using?

I jumped on the MTN Fibre X bandwagon about 6 weeks ago and subscribed to the 20mbps for 18,000 naira. About 2 weeks later, I wanted to pay for 3 more months but guess what- the 20mbps for 18,000 naira has been removed form the MTN platform.

I decided to wait till my subscription is about to expire before doing the 25k for 50mbps, but lo and behold, that too has been taken off the market .

It's just an ok LTE band....not as strong or fast as their band 7. If you want the best speed lock band 7(2600MHz) or EARFCN 3256. It's a 20MHz bandwidth. The others are 10MHz bandwidth

for my location, these 3 perform better than b7

I think airtel just added band 1, 2100MHz

Tried many options. The X25 seems to be stubborn with this. I only succeeded in making only one device connect and browse - the first device to be connect will browse, the rest won't.

The think took most of my free time.

One thing I found online that the pro version of this router (i.e. X25 pro and perhaps the now available Max 2) have that root access and in fact have a dedicated WAN from one of the LAN ports. It's not straightforward with this normal X25 router.

I have the pro version, wanna guide me let me see if it works?

Is your ODU ZLT or ZTE? I did sim swap today........and it was effected within 30mins. Just tell them at Airtel shop that you want to do sim swap, they will need your sim number and NIN before it can be authorized

Did you need to receive OTP for SIM swap?

Well, you're right, there's no DNS just DDNS

If you're using zlt odu try to login with username: root
Password: admin

It's easy.

Unplug the connecting cable of the IDU from the battery bank and the IDU itself to isolate it, then plug in the other buttery bank to the power port of the IDU and turn on.

The ODU is really great.

To extend your battery up time you can use the battery from the X25pro to power the indoor unit only while the other battery powers the ODU. This has almost doubled my uptime.

How do you power them separately

it’s a better device than the current ODU and it’s universal. Anything Telecommunication device made by hauwei is the best quality that is.

If Huawei made it why they put Nokia on it
