1. General Questions = 94 2. Logical Reasoning = 131 3. Quantitative Analysis = 305 4. Verbal reasoning = 164 5. Current Affairs = 300+ 6. ICT = 14 The above is from the software. In all these they will select 50 to 60 questions at random. Because questions are selected at random, the question in my number 1 might be your number 60 as the case may be. Now look at the ratio, out of 94+131+305+164+14+300+ = 1,008+. You will be required to answer only 50 or 60 from the 694 questions selected at random. That is why so many candidates fail. What is your chance of making it to the interview and collecting the 10k transport? You need to see all or at least more than 90% of these questions. I have extracted and arranged 1008 of these questions. If you need them drop your email or number, I will tell you how to get it from me. My date is 4 June, goodluck at the exam and interview.
|

I guess that day was my lucky day. I will double check even though she introduced herself to me too. I later saw a nurse who documented my records on her computer. She also told me I had to see her even though I had seen my DOCTOR! |

The name of my doctor is Dr Shirley webbe... I remember the dietician mentioning to me that I had a very good doctor when she saw her on the corridor. She was quite busy running from her office to the theatre and had a medical student following her about. She gave me a two weeks appointment. |

About not seeing a doctor before delivery... I've never heard of that before, you definitely need to see your doctor to access you. Please go to the guys at front desk of the women's centre. They will assign you a doctor, or you get to choose if it's not a busy day. |

I paid the $130 for first doctor's appointment... I meant I MAY not need to go for the next one if I don't have any complaints (just expressing my thoughts) Sorry I didn't count the no of tests, but I did all the doctor ticked off on the form.... (doctor took sample for PAP smear and chlamydia herself) I had to go to Christine's office to clarify on the cost before proceeding with them. |

For the benefit of those looking to come to N.Y. Il be using wyckoff heights medical centre. Got the following quotes from them: *maternity package for selfpay is $6500 includes hosp fee, doctors fee, paed and anaesthesia *$130 per doctors appointment (I don't intend to go there if I don't have any complaints sha) *I paid $120 for all the lab work (my doctor rejected all the tests I did in Nigeria, accepted only the scan reports. *$241 per scan done The financial lady.. Christine is awesome and very helpful. She said she has worked with over 60 naija mums, so she know exactly all we need... zero balance statement and all. PM me if u need any clarifications. Hope this helps. 10 Likes 1 Share |

My POE experience I flew BA to newyork.. BA service was just there. Flight was very full all the way. Was able to get an upgrade over the counter for the London to newyork leg of the journey. There was no preggo on the flight, and by the time we got to N.Y. had very few Nigerians. Met a very stern looking young CBP CBP: what brings you here me: to have my baby and a short vacation CBP : (Types on the computer for a few mins) how long do you intend to stay me: 12weeks CBP: did you say 12months? (Turning to look at me) Me: No, I said 12wks CBP: oh ok. So how much do you have? Do you have proof that you can pay your bills? Me: $4k... actually that's the much you can get from the Nigerian banks, but I have a funded Nigerian account statement and a debit card. Can I show you? (I actually printed a new account statement the day before my travel) CBP: oh please do Mehands him the account statement and envelop of crispy cash, lol ) CBP: (peeps into the cash envelop, then flips briefly through the account statement). So where exactly do you want to have your baby? Me: Actually my final destination will be Texas, il be using Dr FF of Oakbend medical centre CBP: can I see your return ticket Me: (hands it over to him) CBP: (checks my return date)by the way what do you do back home? Me: am a ******** CBP: can I have your fingerprints ma'am. btw, congratulations on your pregnancy, I hope everything goes well for you! Me: Thank you very much CBP: No problem ma'am (Stamps me in for 6months). No secondary inspection Head to agric cos I declared some foodstuffs At Agric, met a smiley faced middle aged Indian Agric: where are you coming from? Me: Nigeria Agric: laughs (here comes another Nigerian to his colleagues) so do you have yam Me: No Agric: garden egg, dried fish.... bla bla Me: (laughing)Noooo... No contraband, just dried local vegetables and spices for pregnant women Agric: oh great... You can go Didn't even bother opening or searching my box. Dragged my bag waka pass. NB : like someone mentioned earlier, in my own assessment, I think the issue of cash is over-rated (doesnt mean you shouldnt go with sufficient cash ooo)cos I just had an amount a little above my budget. They just want you to keep it simple and truthful. * Be bold and composed, don't 've fidgety, unless you have something up your sleeves or your intentions are not genuine... those guys are psychologists! 6 Likes |

Hello people, I've been a silent member of this thread, got all the info and tips from here... So it's most important I share my journey so far at least to encourage your good ministry, . Visa interview was at Abuja embassy (I had already been denied twice at Lagos, before stumbling on this thread).. So I went armed with my burden of proof VO: goodmorning me: goodmorning (hands him my passport and papers) VO: why do you want to go to the US? Me: for childbirth and a short vacation VO: (Types on the computer for a few secs)... oh I see you've already chosen your facilities me: yes please (I filled Dr FF details as contact person, and in town suites for acc) VO: I can see your using centre for women's health.. (nodding his head) Me: yes please VO: any letter from the hospital and have you made any payments? Me: No letter from the hospital but I have one from my doctor, actually the doctor chooses the hospital he works with, and he doesn't accept cash till you arrive (hands him Dr FF's letter) VO: oh I see (nodding)...aha! It's written here (pointing) he doesn't accept cash. So do you have any funds to pay. Me: yes I do, (hands him hubby's statement of account). Here's my budget too VO: (flips through both of them)... oh ok. So where does your husband work? Me: he's a ****** with ***** VO: oh *****. That's good, and what about you? Me: am a ***** VO: good. So do you plan to specialize? Me: hopefuĺly, I will (smiles) VO: alright ma'am.. congrats your visa has been approved, pick up on ***. make sure you pay your bills and come back with your receipts cos u'l be needing them. Also go with all the documents you just showed me to the border.... basically you shouldn't have any problem. I wish you good luck. Me: Thank you very much. Na so that one go, the questions were real quick, I didn't spend up to 10mins. Thanks to all the contributors, y'all are awesome. The lesson still remains... come prepared both with documents and prayers. Will type my POE experience shortly *phew* 8 Likes |
