Thank you Taal, the company has been paying taxes(corporate). On a quarterly basis, 500k is paid into the personal account being for allowances. It's a company in which Iam one of the Directors.

Based on the sole source of income you have shared which is 600k per month then your disposable income is 150k so it would take you 20 months to save 3mill.

You might want to do more than 3 months of statements or indicate other sources of income you can verify.Or other savings you jave

If I choose to opt for hotel, I can see hostels on booking.com that less than 1million naira will cover for the entire period

Yes the company pays 600k is into my personal account on monthly basis and my expenses for the month is between 450 kand 550k(depends)
For travel history, I visited South Africa in 2013 and UAE in 2016.. Yes he will be responsible for accomodations being the invitee. Or do you think applying as a tourist with hotel reservation would fly if there could be complications?
...and YES the company is registered and active since 2014 and I intend to attach with the application the CAC certificate, Memorandum of Association showing the names of the 3 directors and the Licence from the relevant federal Govt regulatory agency (I hope this is enough to tie to Nigeria and my child)
Unfortunately , I do not have history of personal tax payment.

Do you have a separate account from your business
Do you have travel history
Closing balance isn't the issue..it's what your monthly expenses are compared to what you will spend on your trip
Invitation letter is neither here or there, is your friend responsible for your accommodation, would he be covering your food expenses
Is your company registered? Do you have history of tax payments
What would tie you to Nigeria?

Thank you for your reply, the funny thing is I keep tab on the VFS website day and night and it's frustrating that not even a date has ever been displayed. All I always see is there are no appointments dates at the moment and that I should keep checking.

Then, create a 2nd account using a different email address—don’t book with this one, just use it to monitor the available dates regularly (check every hour or so). People often cancel their appointments, so earlier dates do open up from time to time.
Once you find a closer date on the 2nd account, switch back to your original account and reschedule your appointment to that earlier slot.

Good day house. I intend to guide my friend on DIY Japan tourist visa. Can you well informed people on Japan visa here help with right steps and the documents required. Although I have seen on their website but it's cool to have first hand inform from experienced people. I tried creating a profile with VfS on order to book appointment but no appointments slots is displayed . Also, is it possible to make the trip by December all things being equal cos I'm not privy of timelines for appointments and the application processing time at the embassy.

Can also 2 month statement of account be used?

I registered on cbex and deposited 300dollars
on the 2nd March. As at today 7th April I have 641 dollars. 35days in trading. Have I completed my trading cycle like that and eligible for withdrawal? Some are saying it's 45 days. Please clarify

Yeah, I was shocked too because all earlier dates (September 2024/ October 2024) I was trying to pick was coming back as error messages. I kept trying every day, and by luck after numerous tries, it worked.

After booking your initial appointment, you have 3 chances to reschedule.
You can view the appointment calendar as many times as you want, the attempt only counts when you successfully book an appointment.

In my mom's case for instance, I secured her initial appointment for May 2025, I saw she had 3 more reschedule attempts left. I kept checking for an early date but each time I tried to pick a date, an error message pops up. Eventually, I rescheduled her for November 2024, same night I rescheduled again for October 2024. Now she has 1 more reschedule chance left.

My friends sister has 3 kids but separated from the husband. She has been the one looking after the kids. However she planned to travel outside the country about 2 years ago with the kids but her uncle who is a british citizen advised her to change the surname of the kids to his so he can file for them being a british citizen. This she did without the consent of the kids father and went ahead to register their NIN with her uncles surname and obtained their passports as such. Unfortunately, she didnt proceeed eventually with the travel plan. Now she wants to reinstate their original surnames. How does she go about it please?

This is a case of chargeback. Did you hire an agent or contacted someone to make payment on your behalf? Well it’s like using a stolen credit card to pay and the owner of card reported and the money was refunded to him/her so automatically, you owe IRCC. It’s a big offence though. But if you can explain with concrete proof, you are safe! Iv seen people win charge back case. Think we’ll before you respond. I wish you Goodluck!

A friend called me this morning and told me he was recently refused canada study visa and doesn't understand the details on the refusal note. He shared Screencast of the refusal notes but In as much as I know not much about canada I promised to get back to him after getting help from Nairalanders.

Why exactly was he refused based on the note ?
what exactly was expected of him when they said he was given 7 days to respond.?

You can try university of Sunderland… I applied for October intake but couldn’t make it so I deferred to January 2024… the deposit is 50% of your tuition fee if you can afford it.

I was offered admission into university of sunderland , sunderland. However it just occurred to me they have a campus located in london . My brother lives in london and I am considering the.possibility of changing from sunderland campus to london campus so as to ease accommodation cost if I opted for london campus.

I have written to the university of sunderland, though and got a reply from.the university of sunderland, london that I should upload all the documents in their portal .

Is it a wise idea?

Secondly, in terms of part time job opportunities, I hope it's reasonable in london compared to sunderland.
