United Kingdom politician are criticizing their govt about how they trite people in detention center and there is alot of Nigeria in various detention center , UK channel 4 tv had an undercover filming into one of the center follow this link to verify or copy and paste it into Google www.channel4.com/news/yarls-wood-immigration-removal-detention-centre-investigation the detainees are been called animal and birth by the guards and even pregnant are detained there too, during the process of this chartered flight the treatment that Nigeria go through is inhuman and ungodly to human and they will be duped like goods in the cargo section .....most country do not accept their citizen to be deported by chartered flight but Nigeria Embassy in UK accept money from UK govt to issue travel document to the UK immigration without verifying why they are being deported and most of the Nigeria have wife and kids in UK . This is a big shame on Nigeria as a country as UK govt dont respect its citizen. Most of this Nigeria have been detainees for more than one years and some of them have been asking the immigration that they want to buy their own ticket and go back for month now and the pleas always fall on deaf ears. a survey was carried out on the longest detainees in the detention center and out of 20 people you have two Nigeria on the list : Detainees in Dungavel 20 longest individual spells in detention (snapshot on 7 Jan 2015) Nationality of detainee Nights in Dungavel Total in detention 1.Western Sahara 379 545 2.Algeria 376 496 3.Iran 344 896 4.Bangladesh 339 340 5.China 303 305 6.Kuwait 294 453 7.Zimbabwe 265 268 8.Vietnam 239 241 9.Algeria 225 225 10.Gambia 213 411 11.Jamaica 212 218 12.Czech Republic 208 210 13.Lebanon 207 230 14.Pakistan 201 .. 205 15.Somalia 194 220 16.Algeria 188 221 17.Nigeria 188 191 18.Jamaica 187 198 19.Nigeria 187 191 20.Pakistan 187 199 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-31710402 .
