Truly ehn once you take your time and read through people’s experience in this forum, you would always pick one or two skills/lessons.. Na so I set out to work around 4am…it was approaching 8am and all I had made on bolt was getting close to 10k. I got to freedom way and u know dat the traffic light at d turn is two..I crossed d first when it was yellow and about turning to red. Na so lastma come wan arrest me..telling me to open my windows and trying hard to open my door….remembering one of felicity’s experience Na so I no gree wind down or open door…two lastma officers came to join the person trying to arrest me, but I still stood my ground looking at them as they tried making me give them access
Finally traffic light turned green…cars in my front don move Na so I reason to do hoodlum driving as most drivers here….i started moving d car and the lastma officer standing in d front of d car got that feeling say if em no comot from dere I go clear am…Na so God save me from dem o…Omo na unto say I broke I even head out to work in d first day ..make I come dey find way to borrow money to pay lastma
Funny enough rider wey I even wan go pick still cancel the ride on getting to destination..Thanks for sharing ur experiences as e don teach me one or two…

Riders can't see the fare on their phone until you complete the ride.

For sake of next time @ Glithronix don't be in a hurry to complete your rider for any reason.

Just end it and let the rider step out of your car b4 completing it.

Another reason for this is so you don't get intimidated to rate the rider since they're seeing you.

And don't always be in a hurry to leave after finishing a ride. Take some time to look at the car to see if rider left any item or if you need to clean up b4 you move onto the next ride. Unless you're in places like marina rd, or along a major road where law enforcement agents might be a treat to you, yet don't complete the ride just end it, collect your money, let the rider make payment 200m or 100m away from their destination then let them quickly get down. Move to a save place b4 completing the ride.

Even atbthe airport you can still wait to check if or dust your foot mat b4 driving away from the drop off zone the only thing you can't do is pick up at that point.

These policemen intention put the One-way symbol on an entrance of one street like that, very close to Bolade Oshodi.
Be like they go cut small banner in circular form to make the O shape with the one-way symbol and paste in on one stick and put it ok the entrance of that street, there's no way you go see that sign where dem mount it. If you see the number of cars that got into the trap, omoh, those police go make millions yesterday only.
Na their oga enter my car say make we drive to their station with plenty arrested drivers following as if we were on escort duty,
When we got to their station, come see cars they arrested.
That was a pure intentional trap - cos their oga dey charge between 20k - 15k for bailing, so that victims go pay easily. When we know the penalty for a real one-way offence. Come see as we dey pay to bail our cars comot, their oga dey collect money on the street openly and he was dipping the money in his pocket and release our keys as we dey pay.
Him say na 15k me I must pay, I just beg am say I dey fast make him collect 10k - naso oga collected their 10k from me and put it in his pocket where people dey, I think residents of that area already know that's their dealings. I just zoomed to Allen, Ikeja and got a trip Iju ishaga, etc.
I don't think there's a way one can avoid paying these people as long as you're a driver, there's just no way to avoid them.
That's my only negative experience so far.

Yeah, I started off as a newbie. It really took the person that gave me the car some COURAGE and LET ME GIVE YOU A TRY before he could hand over the car to me, cos they all prefer an experienced Uber/bolt driver.

I would have opted for it but it's going to be a huge disappointment for the person that gave me his car, I don't like breaching agreement like that, not when the person considered a lot for me.
