It's true as compared to the white man culture. Some years ago when I was teaching in a private school, was a programmed called exchange programme organized by the British Council. Some schools were to go partner with some schools in the UK. Every year two teachers would go to the UK and visit the school they partnered with and two teachers from that school would also do the same. British Council would sponsor one of the teachers in the school and the school would sponsor the other person. Any time they came for a visit our school would take care of their feeding and accommodating but when our teachers went there, they had to take care of themselves. When they came we would buy them different things that are African but when we went there, you have to buy with your money. They won't but anything for you freely
