On a serious note it will never serve the purpose of the original Danish fish meal.. But you can add it to ur fish feed

Good day farmers in the house, I just finished the construction of my two fishpond 10*15*4ft size. And I have already filled it with water and put about 2kg of salt in it for the next 2days to disinfect the pond before I will stock. Have booked for post fingerlings which should get to me by Monday. Pls I need advice on dos and don't because am newbie fish farmers and a silent follower of this trend

24ft by 10ft by 4ft - for 1500 capacity to table size
20ft by 10ft by 4ft - for 1000 capacity to table size

1.what sizes/stages of fishes are u bringing to ur pond..eg..fingerlings, juvenile or table size..well u might not need to disinfect them if u are bringing them from a trusted farm..mostly if u are bringing in fingerlings or juveniles..

2. You can wash ur tarp pond with salt or better still use fish bioxide after which you soak it with water for some days before using...and dont forget to drain the water and refil with fresh water before stocking...hope this helps..
