Sholaypanda:The "4 cylinder " as you said burns oil.. the v6 is better. Go with it! Don't look back!! The fuel economy difference with "4 cylinder " will be tolerable when you start enjoying the smoothness of v6. Cheers 🍻 |
Okay but how long does it take for coolant to go down in the reservoir? Or does it suppose to go down at all when there's no leakage? [/quote If your cooling system is sealed with no leakage. Coolant in your reservoir will stay there for over one year minimum without shorting from the upper mark. Can go 5years without going below the lower mark. |
minista94:If they're mixing it will be a milky color. And the coolant you are using is okay. |
minista94:Being a tok car doesn't mean you can't get a problem. The reason why many prefer toks car is because there is less to worry about compared to Nigerian used cars. To your question! 1.) Check your radiator cap if it's still good, the spring inside the cap. 2.) Do you perceive any sweet smell when the engine is hot and running. If yes, you have a leak. 3.) Take your time with a touch, and check the radiator for physical damage and possible leak. If there's a leak, you will see it. 4.) Check your radiator hose clamps if there fitted good. 5.) Check your transmission oil to make sure you aint mixing coolant with transmission fluid. 6.) Check the hose that runs through the radiator to the reservoir for damage and check the reservoir cover if it fits and covers well. 7.) Lastly what coolant are you using? Abro?? Or original coolant?? |
Not 2013!! Modify!!! Happy sales 27 more characters needed |
Nice video... next time fire it up and show dashboard/mileage. That will complete your video to make it a detailed one. Cheers! Happy sales. |
Does it shift smoothly? If yes, do a single drain and refill with original Toyota gear oil. If you can't afford original leave the gear oil as it is. If it doesn't shift smoothly, do it twice or thrice drain and refill. Driving 50miles in between before draining. Cheers 🍻 |
theadeola:Don't expect the fun of a sedan/sport car in an SUV. But, this SUV handles like a car and better than most sedans. |
Port443:Enjoy your ride man! Always buckle your seatbelt! Also, if not for bandit or kidnapping, i don't see the reason why someone who has a car will be flying plane up and down. Waisting money and not enjoying the ride he bought. After 5years or ownership the person will barely hit 15k miles. |
KabirHakeem:First, start with elimination of possible cause... (one) is removing the propeller shaft entirely and drive without it. It's safe to drive without it, no harm to the engine or gear.... since you said it comes with noise, cranking noise underneath, right? If so, i suspect the propeller bolts in the middle, which is bolted on the body of the car is lose. NB: i don't mean the iron hanger that cross over the propeller shaft. Secondly, check the rpm/speed the noise starts happening... Bad engine seating will not cause cranking noise, you will get vibration at idle and a loud thud shifting the gear from P to R/D. Bad Front engine seating will cause torque steer accelerating hard from a stop. Change it if bad to avoid damage to you inner cupshaft! You can check your engine seating to know which is bad through power braking. Open the engine bay and have someone put your car in Drive and hold the brake firmly, and gently press the throttle pedal at 1500 to 2k rpm to check the engine movement. A little movement with resistance means your seating is in good shape but obvious movement means the seating is bad. Note: when power braking and gear in "R" you are testing the rear engine seating. And when gear is in " " you are testing the front one. Reminder! Your front engine seating has a vacuum tube connected to engine which it uses to damping vibration and hardening during quick acceleration. Don't forget to connect it!! |
You are not totally correct sir, you can do it online at the comfort of your home and download your permit online. You don't need to visit any police station. Total amount is a bit over 15k not up to 16k. I got mine yesterday. Applied on the 8th and it was approved on the 16th and I downloaded it at the comfort of my home. Did facial verification online. /quote] Will someone need this permit with a factory tint at the back glasses, example SUVs? |
Car year? Mileage?? |
What's wrong with your car first? Brief the problem, to get an insight, before searching for a mechanic. |
My 2006 honda accord timing belt adjuster had clearance which makes a knocking sound on cold start every morning . I took it to the mechanic, he said it was the oil lifter or screen, and pump which is not pumping well. I refused to listen, i took my time to research and found out it was the timing belt adjuster which i bought for 3k then and gave to the mechanic, he changed it and boom the knocking sound stopped upon cold start... NB: if you own a car and lazy to make research about it and it's problem before taking it to the mechanic, you will pay heavily for that! |
If you want to drive a car, get the accord. If you want to ride a car, get the camry. My 2cent! |
You paid because you have the money, if you didn't have the money. I am sure you will find a way around it and that wouldn't have cost you 80k. Meanwhile, there is nothing like authority to sell. U self think am! Authority to sell document should be directed to the car stand dealership. In essence police suppose full all these car stands to they check authority to sell. You didn't sell, you bought. They didn't ask you authority to buy because you will catch them, so they confused you with authority to sell which was impossible to get. Thieves!! Go back to the station without your car, meet one of the police and ask for D.C.O office. And lay your complaint, that money go fall out as long as you can recognize them. Just remember the check point then catch you and the time. They will figure th3 patrol team that was there. Good luck!! |
Better don't bother looking for it here cause you will be getting fake and the leaking will be worse after working on it. I will advice you find someone who can get oem from abroad, in one of the dealerships. Where you can't get an oem, get a good known aftermarket like "NATIONAL" Do it right, do it once! |
Good job! Quality fluid, happy mechanism. Btw, i don't like toyota Awd, it's basically a front well drive, only send power to the rear when the front wheel slips. Next DIY should be engine filter and Ac filter. Good job 👏 |
I will advise you keep an eye on your temperature guage to make sure the radiator fan is cycling fine. Also, don't use the Ac, just drive without Ac and see if your fan will kick on. Remember, there are low and High fan speed. Ecu controls both at the right time. Cheers! |
Just do you pre purchase inspection very well, nah mostly boys car be that, they do all sort of rubbish. Raisng the shock, upgrading with china lights, Removing thermostat etc. Those things make me puke ![]() |
No accident history? That airbag sign nah wetin?? ![]() A guy sitting down with a ball on his lap ![]() |
Tire might be costly but if flipped around to be compared with life, it's cheap! I recommend you change the tire because the weight is no longer evenly distributed and it seems to be a cheap tire ![]() But as a Nigerian with two lives lol.. drive conservatively until you get home, can still use it within your state but try to change it whenever you are going on long trips. My 2 cent! |
The real Giant of Africa. No be cho cho cho! Doings dey!!! |
