Nobody deserved to be disqualified as long he didn't try to be greedy by using more than the stated lot size and didn't gamble his way to drawdown.

You don't get me,The lot size these guys are allowed to use is over the lot size limit in the competition.Have you ever opened up to 70 lot in total before?, would you be allowed to use it?.
I once checked the trading history of a guy who made over 80% last month on TFT competition.Guess what,His biggest winner was not up to 9%,I calculated his profit and it's just 36%.mind you,all his trades at that time were closed.
I think these props are just playing around with us.

Backtesting is to test the profitability of a strategy, the frequency of trade, period of trade, expected ROI, refining TP/SL, confidence of trade, experience of trade, shorten learning time on trade, expected and accepting trade loss.

Even after all of this
You would still trade like a c*nt.
it's on FT were you train discipline, you don't learn that in BT,
You also train patience on FT, and increase trade confidence.

I can simulate 3 years worth of data on BT in a week,
If you do that in FT, you won't even do 3 months on FT before throwing away the strategy.

Anyways, do what works best for you.

I don't feel disturbed by your input in anyway. I don't even know what analysis you are using or what you are seeing. If you had asked why I took the buy, I would have shared more light though. Like someone sighted already..... I trade with Elliott wave principle . It wants to continue the buy trend on 30mins/1hr chart. Same thing for EURGBP

yes you are right. i quoted you cos you said the trend is pointing downwards. where as it has actually turn bullish teh teh. thats why i said you should look at the weekly.
and also yes one can even actually make money both ways. infact some times i make more money when a trade goes against me cos ill tripple down to where its going before actually resuming the trend...

Because I am seeing this trend for the first time.... It's remind me of all those Forex forums that year when men were still coming up as traders. LoLzzzzz 😁😁😁.... Someone above was even explaining the chart with DXY nonsense forgetting that price action backed with the market structure per time is the Koko..... Trading is too simple without much over analysis.

Common change in character followed through with break of market structure and a retest with the formation of the candlestick pattern to cement the confluences will give you a good entry that will cummulate in a profitable trade per time.

Then rinse and repeat over and over again with good money management in place (stop loss and take profit level established), then you are good to go..... LoLzzzzz .
