Which God are they giving the money? There is no normal government funding religious trips except Nigeria. Almajiri children are busy roaming the north, yet billions are budgeted annually, money which goes into Saudi's economy.

No normal country pays for people to go to another country en-masse under the guise of religion. If anyone wants to go for Hajj or to Jerusalem, let them use their own funds! Nigeria can't keep wasting money on things that don't benefit the economy.

A case of misplaced priority from the government. Whoever wants to engage in pilgrimage to wherever should do so using his/her own financial resources. Pumping scarce financial resources into the economy of another country is not just a dumb move but an evil one at that. I know people like Chinkoalhaji47 and co will still come and give us excuses for this.

This is rice that one Monday this government announced would only be available to civil servants and via a website. I checked the website on that day and searched for rice but came up with no results. Now today Thursday, still unable to purchase the rice, we are told the program has been shut down for some stewpid reasons. This government never planned to send the people rice to begin with. This was all part of Tinubu's many lies/frauds against the Nigerian people.

I'll be honest, I think it's being a messy situation for President Tinubu to sort out, we have effectively borrowed money based on oil sales for however many years in the future.

I have said on here none of these breed of politicians are any good, none of them should contest for office because they don't have the interest of the country and it's people's as their priority.

You are right on one thing though, the cycle will go on until we somehow shunt them aside, all of them including Peter Obi who Obidients somehow assign sainthood to.

I'm not totally against subsidy removal, but the way PBAT handled the issue till now shows that he didn't have any concrete and effective policy on ground to cushion it's effect upon Nigerians majority of which are already impoverished before the subsidy removal. Selling a few bags of rice at subsidized fees and giving a few people a meagre #20k or so is an unsustainable policy that won't help the citizens in the long run at all. If it is only giving handouts and propaganda that APC are still relying upon after 9+ years of coming into power, then how they any different from the corrupt PDP. And to say that they came into power using the slogan of change. I don't even have to go into how hypocritical Tinubu's government have been, he has done every single thing that he criticized the corrupt GEJ government for and is doing much more. Omo, what's the way forward now. 🤦🤦🤦
