Deep within myself, I KNOW that with top-notch tech., THIS, is not only possible and feasible, but also a child's play. My guess is that you didn't even think of exploring its possibility with Seun.

In other climes, this will be enough to spur some innovations. These are moments I wish I was a programmer.

I would have proffered a Solution that would even decrease the impact in terms of Bytes usage on people who visit that first page.. BUT!!

You are too stubborn.. Next time be nicer and ask for help.

I would have helped you put those pictures in a slide and just have them auto roll and reduce the bytes usage on peoples devices. tongue
You could mail me and we'll go over the details.

Or we just stick to this method.

And why not?
Do you know what programming a website like this entail?

Shut down the likes feature on one thread seriously?

It's taking things too far and complicated.

MadCow1:
The set-up of this thread is highly disadvantageous to the contestants further down the thread..

Try opening this thread with a poor internet.. the only pictures that show up are those on top.. You need to remove all the Pictures or seek help in turning those pictures into a slide so it requires less Megabyte to open..

I just truied it with some of my handhelds and most of the Pictures do show especially those lower on the table..

You have naturally placed those below at a disadvantage..
And how are we suopposed to eliminate the disadvantageous position?

Put all of them in one post?

Somebody has to be first on the list and you know it.

It's a natural law of nature.

A suggestion that may be a better poll style. From next round, can the votes be programmed technically to be done only through likes? Each Like will count as 1 vote.

Nobody should have permission to comment cos the campaigning will be restricted to the campaign thread and other threads in NL.

The share button will still be active for each contestant but it will be used just for campaigns and won't count as votes.

This method will be awesome only if at the expiration of the voting time, the Like and Share buttons for each contestant is deactivated to prevent further activity, but remains visible, so that the Like(Vote) count can be seen by all.

If the technical angle can be handled, then counting of votes will become more transparent, less stressful for judges and could be done in a minute.

Each round will have a new thread, else you will keep resetting the Like and Share buttons to zero, which won't be good for record purposes.

Just my 2kobo.
Deep within yourself you know this impossible and not feasible.
