Everyday for me is romance
I live in a dreamland

That very night i called her to invite her for the
dinner,
“What’s wrong, are you well?” she asked.
Thou i expected that question from her, my
mother is the type of person that don’t like late
night calls, a surprise visit, she see them as a sign
of bad news.
“Mum i thought it would be pleasant/great to
spend some time with you,” I responded. “Just
the two of us, me and you.”
She waited for some moment and then said, “I
would love that very much my son.”
That very Friday after work, as I move straight to
her house to pick her up, thou I was a bit
nervous about the date. When I arrived at her
house, I also noticed that she is nervous too. She
is already prepared with her curled hair and was
wearing the amazing dress that she had worn to
celebrate her last wedding anniversary. My
mother was really beautiful, she gave me a smile
from a face that was as radiant as that of an
angel’s
“She said, i told my friends that i will be going on
a date with my son, they were very impressed,
and .”My friends can’t wait to hear about our
meeting”.
My mother was very happy…We went to a Mr
Biggs, My mother took my hand on his arm as if
she is the first lady…Ofcourse she is!! LOL.
After we sat down at the restaurant, Due to her
eyes could only read large prints, so i had to read
the menu. As i was reading the menu, I have to
lifted up my eyes and saw Mother sitting there
staring at me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips. I
really love that smile thou.
“She said i was the one who used to have to read
the menu when you were very small,”.
The i replied her “Mom, With pleasure i think it’s
time that you relax and let me return the favor,”
During the dinner , we discuss many things,
event family, old memories, do joke and catching
up on recent happenings. That was my best
dinner of the year.. Love that woman.. she still
remember every of my favorite, Lets i forget she
even came to dinner with my pictures and that of
our family..it was lots of fun..
After the dinner, i drove my mother to her house
and she said: I will love to go out again with you
but only if you will let me invite you myself.”
I agreed.
“When i got home my wife asked about the
dinner. I told her how fun it was, much more so
than I could have imagined
Some days later, my mother died of heart attack.
It happen so much that i could not do anything
for her.
After the burial, One day, I received an envelope
which contains a restaurant receipt of the same
place Mother and I had dined as well as the note
attached to it, Which said:
“My son, I paid this bill in advance. I don’t know if
I could be there; but, nevertheless, I paid for two
plates and position – one for you and the other for
your wife. You never know what that night we
spent together meant for me. My son, I love you.”
At that moment, I come understand how
importance it is, of saying in time: ‘I love YOU’
and to really give our loved ones the time that
they deserve.
There is nothing in life worth more than giving
your family the time they deserve, because these
things cannot be put off till some “other” time.
