I applied for France study visa, had my campus France interview on the 7th August, TLScontact and submitted my application documents on the 14th August 2024. I received a message from TLS to come pick up my passport on the 19th August. Lo and behold, my visa was refused/denied on the reason "There is sufficient evidence and serious grounds to establish that you would stay in France for purposes other than those for which the study visa was requested"
Please what can I do as my school will be resuming 2nd September, 2024?
I have no travel history, virgin passport...
Document submitted are:
CAC certificate, CAC certificate of annual returns , CAC document showing my ownership of a school, 3 months SOA of my school where I happen to be the director and sole signatory to the account, initial deposit of accomodation, certificate of accomodation, flight reservation, travel health insurance from Aiico insurance, statement of undergraduate degree, transcript of my undergraduate degree, NECO certificate and token to check the result, admission letter from my school in France, acceptance of admission letter, cover letter (explaining who will manage the school in my absence and reason I chose the course, the school and France and the benefit of the program to my establishment and how i plan to apply directly advance knowledge and skills upon returning to Nigeria), attestation certificate from etudes France and reference letter from my bank.
What serious ground are they referring to?
Marriage certificate, children date of birth or what exactly? I await your positive reply from scholars please.

I've followed this thread from page 1 to 40 and glad about the contributions. But one question that has never been asked is will one who just finished bachelors and yet to go for NYSC and applied immediately for masters be questioned on why they didn't wait for nysc during interviews?

The dispatch rider is sent to a location, he gets to the location and let's the scammer know he's arrived ( scammer can say he just stepped out and that someone else will meet him).The scammer calls the buyer, keeps him on the call while he confirms that the dispatch rider is there and then immediately tells the buyer to send funds before he calls the rider to release the item.

That's why I stated in my original comment that it would only work in instances where the buyer is pressured into transferring funds when he sees dispatch rider.

The scammer will obviously provide his phone number as the buyer's number while using the buyer's address for delivery....I don't know why it's so hard to grasp, it's a simple concept

Lol, except that the scammer will actually give the seller his own number and not the number of the buyer. The scammer will make sure that the seller never gets in contact with the buyer. In cases like this simple details matter which a lot of people wouldn't notice.

Before any SELLER despatches a product he must 1st call the BUYER to confirm the order.
Once the SCAMMER calls to ask for money, the BUYER will see/hear a Number/voice different from the SELLER & the scam will be busted.

How come you are not seeing that this scam is not possible. It's not rocket science na.

How will the SCAMMER even know when the product is delivered because he doesn't have the DESPATCHER's number?

It's literally explained in the video.
The scammer will send the address of the buyer to the seller, acting like it's his own address.
The seller then sends a dispatch, and when the dispatch arrives at the location, the seller will inform the scammer. Then the scammer goes on to call the real buyer and tells him the dispatch has arrived and asks him to confirm the product and send the payment to his account. The buyer checks the product and sends the money to the account of the scammer. Simple.
The only way it can be avoided is if the dispatch provides the account information instead.

Just be very careful when buying on jiji especially.
The scam is now advanced now. Scammer opens an online store on jiji with a real seller's shop address.
He'd then direct you to his store in Computer village. If the phone or laptop is 800k, he'd tell you it's 500k.
As you get to the store, he'd be chatting you to ask of you have seen the item and that his younger brother is in the one in the store at the moment. He'd keep pressuring you to make payment cos other buyers are also coming for it. Gbam, your own greed will make you send money to him..After that, fight will now start between you and real seller.

Austria is the best route for student and you are allowed to move with your dependant. School fees is just €720 per semester and you only have 2 semester each year.

If school fees is that cheap, don't you think N18m will be enough for you to relocate?

I move here along with my wife and son and we have been happier since.

The only challenge here is the German language but don't forget that we have Nigerians in China and Russia where you cant even understand their alphabets.

In Austria students are allowed to work 20hrs a week while their dependant can work 40hrs a week. Minimum salary is €2,300 to €1,700 for full time partime is €750 to €1,100 depends on the establishmentand experience. Some IT people earn €3600- €5000.

Food is very cheap. You cannot be living in Europe and be hungry except you dont save. There are African stores where you can buy Nigeria stuffs like foods, cosmetics and other groceries.

Here government pay children (be it nigeria or any country) from €250- 1000 depends on the age.

Another thing that can take time is legalizing and verification of documents. Mind you, if you have Austria residence permit card, you are free to enter 25 european countries using train or bus. I have visited Germany and planning to visit Italy, France and Switzerland before 2025.

Everything no be Canada, UK and USA (their school fees alone are over $10k)

The German student visa in Nigeria does not give the option to see dates compared to Benin, Senegal and ivory coast. If you're in CAT A, you'll get a date within a week. For CAT B, you're automatically on a queue. It's currently 21 months now

That's why I said worst case scenario. My advise for anyone considering this path is to start learning German to B1 level before the program is available. That will make it extremely easy. If you're into Tech, it will not matter much. The language will only give you a larger pool of options, which is the leverage everyone should seek. For those in regulated professions like Civil, electrical and mechanical engineering, unless you join MNCs, you can't escape the B2 to C1 German to get licenced

That's the worst case scenario. Some people will not get jobs that will pay the EU Blue card threshold (unlikely since it's reduced now). So they have an option to renew the program with a part-time job.

For the jobs, you forget part-time contracts are not limited to Leger(menial jobs). I for example had a temporal technical writing role with a company based in Berlin until march this year. On the opportunity card official page, a job board has been created that will eventually be filled with such jobs. These are jobs Germans don't do but immigrants pick up. It's similar to how UK recruit care givers from abroad, just that Germany has a more robust economy than the UK fueled by manufacturing that makes it easy to get such jobs since this scheme is open now.

A sure way to get such jobs is to have at least A2 German. B1 is better

You can renew the opportunity card for 3 years if you have a job. The reason such jobs can't work for blue card is because they don't fall under the salary threshold. It's very much possible

don't know about this...but i find it hard to believe if I want to book an appointment now the next available date I would be given is next year, that's absurd

No need to spend such amount.. If your university is rated H+ on anabin, just print it out and you automatically qualify. It's part of the requirements.
