It is always advisable that your sponsor be your parents, elder brother or sister, or an uncle who shares the same surname with you.

Ideally, they should not have any current financial responsibilities apart from you, and they should be able to show that they have been responsible for your school fees since secondary school or university.

You must clearly explain your relationship with your sponsor to IRCC. Even better, your sponsor should write a letter explaining why they are providing you with that sum of money.

Proof from their bank they own the account and have full control of the account.

IRCC always reviews financial matters very critically so be very careful.

Better your sponsor be your parents IMO...

You will need to rework your POF, the account of your sponsor seems too volatile to serve as POF, the outflows and inflows are too many and the balance often left in the account is too small to cater for you, also you did not add your SOA and other documents that shows your economic establishment, you need to show what you are doing presently backed with docs and if your sponsor can send you the funds then that will be helpful

The first thing is to get your GCMS notes for the rejected application, so you know the detailed reasons why you were refused, after that, it gives you a direction on how to package your new application

Firstly, you need to decide the course you want to study, then check the requirements for the course from the school website, also ensure what ever course you are going for is PGWP eligible.

Hello All. I got email from IRCC this morning and checked the portal. It was updated with biometric validity letter. No other update. I got this letter with my denial in my last application. I just checked again now and the Final decision section was also updated but doesnt say the application status

They must include the sponsor's account.

Their greatest challenge will be convincing the VO due to their economic establishment in Nigeria. I am referring to their low salary. On top of that, the husband and wife want to travel same time been sponsored by husband's mum. Will be very difficult convincing a VO of your intention is to truly study and return to Nigeria

Hello House,

I am in sort of a Dilemma.

I currently have 3 years experience in IT ranging from Frontend development, Technical Support and System Administrator.

I also have a Bsc in Biochemistry, I have 2 dependants as well (wife and kid).

Majorly, I had always wanted to study an IT related course in Canada but it has been difficult finding a masters course in IT of 16 months that can make me move with my family. Found one at Carleton University but i was denied admission, it made me settle for a course in Management in Healthcare at Trent University and I got admitted.

Now I am not happy about it as the reviews i have been seeing online about it not been lucrative and also this is like a setback for my career.

What should i do? Should I apply for study visa and find my path back to IT after school or just keep applying elsewhere, I am fed up I have spent money on the school, sent them transcript and want to deposit tuition soon.

I need advise, tired and fed up of the whole thing.

I did this in my first application. IRCC updated the platform with my middle name based on my passport If you haven’t submitted, you should add middle name to the Given name sections. If you have submitted already, don’t worry IRCC will update it for you.
