femi4: If everything is inactive or disabled, that mean the phone is unlocked. Go to Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and change from CDMA Mode to GSM Mode, then restore all wireless

So, in your case, service provider still need to be unlock i.e MEP4

Just got my bold 9780 on Telus and now my contract is ending

Got to the MEPD screen and it shows:

SIM DISABLED
NETWORK DISABLED
NETWORK SUBSET DISABLED
SERVICE PROVIDER ACTIVE
CORPORATE DISABLED

Typing MEP2 does nothing but typing MEP4 brings up a Service provider code (10 #'s and 10 tries). My MEP2 code doesn't work. From my searches I have yielded no results and was wondering if this phone is already unlocked? if not how do I proceed?
